| He looked at ustin and smiled seeing how shocked he was. Diana let them in. She fixed an elegant dinner with candles. I hope you enjoy the food. Im afraid Im not the best cook. Im sure its delicious. Tristan kissed her on the cheek. As are you. He whispered in her ear. Stop it or well never make it to the dinner table. She whispered back. The dining room was warmly lit. The three of them sat down. Dustin so far had been pretty silent. He was still taking in Diana. Youre quiet Dustin. She smiled at him. Um, its just a shock seeing you again after so long. Yes. Its good to see you too. How did you and Tristan meet again? Well, you could say we met in the park. Right, love? Thats right. Im glad we did too. He smiled warmly at her. So whats been going on with you since high school. I mean by the looks of things you made a good life for yourself. Do you go to school at M.I.T.? I havent seen you on campus. Dustin looked at her curiously. Um, well I dont go to M.I.T. I go to a small journalism school. As for the house, I just sort of got it. Inheritance and all. Better than a dorm room. She shrugged. Wow. Thats cool. The rest of the night went without a problem. Diana was a gracious hostess and by the end night Dustin was a little jealous of Tristan. All through dinner, Tristan was sneaking glances at her. Nothing he wanted more than to grab her, throw her on the table, rip that dress off and make love to her. Dustin offered to walk home by himself. Tristan knew he offered because he knows what Tristan had in mind for Diana. Are you sure you dont want me to go with you? Tristan asked. Nah, man. Im ok by myself. He lowered his voice, Have fun tonight. He winked. Tristan laughed. I will. Trust me, I will. Dustin patted him on the shoulder and went out the door leaving Diana and Tristan alone. As much as Dustin amuses me, I was waiting for him to leave. Diana looked at him passionately. |
