This was a disaster in the end, after the semis, both the Falkirk teams lodged protests as to Carron & Ella playing
ineligible players, after investigation it was found to be true and both teams disqualified. However as a retort the
disqualified teams protested about the Falkirk teams playing ineligible players. Again they had to be disqualified
leaving no one to play the final. The cup was abandoned.
