Short information: The Arcadia is a nice hotel, 3 min. by TukTuk or 20 min. by walk to Kata. The studio room has a lovely bathroom and a good view, for $ 140 per night. But we had some constructions going on during our stay (a room change was necessary, but no problem). The weather conditions beginning of December are so-so, some short rain showers are likely. The food in Kata - very good - and reasonable, $ 25 for a two person dinner is possible, fresh fish and shells including drinks. You have to ask for the "Local Restaurants". The diving arranged by the "Bubble Masters" was nice. Due to the "Low Season" it was not so crowded. Boats, instructors and food were super, for $ 50 including two dives per person. |  |
