| Falcon's Rest - Main Tower |
| As you step inside, the central tower is revealed to be much bigger than it seems to be from outside. The features that dominate the main room are the curving stairways that match each other on the left and right walls. Thirty feet above is the ceiling, detailed in artwork, freshly painted. Nestled between the stairways is the balefire, flickering warmly. Around the balcony twenty feet off the ground is a banister and hanging from it are several beautiful nature-themed tapestries hanging a mere foot off the freshly cleaned stone floor. There are two visible doors leading off to either side of the main room. Two more tapestries hang from the railing of the stairs, hiding doors to either side, leading into the back of the main floor of the tower. On the balcony where the stairs intersect, there is a large oaken door, and hanging above it is a tapestry that draws attention away from all the others, of a crystal clear midnight sky, the moon, stars, and faint galaxies glittering faintly in the light. This door leads to the observatory. Around the center room are scattered several comfortable chairs and couches, a few tables, and a round pedestal with a dome shape on top, covered by a white cloth. The kitchen has just about anything one could want availble, including both food and drink. The hat check / storage room is just what it sounds like. Mostly this room is empty and kept locked, but when the parties start up, the HUGE speaker system comes out from the back of this room and cloaks and hats and the like are kept here. This is also where the dance floor and stage are kept. The restroom is a one person unisex bathroom, complete with only a functioning toilet and sink with mirror. Katel's bedroom is kept locked at all times and it is widely known that any who enter do so at their own risk. That being said, Katel doesn't worry about it too much. Only one or two have been foolish enough to try so far..... Katel's Office is a matter of who needs what and when. He is the only one with a key and the room stays locked under the same pretenses that his room does. Any who enter without him do so at their own risk. The Balefire is set in a hearth directly beneath the landing where the stairs intersect, the stairs themselves are anchored only into the wall, they have no standing support, but are very well made and will most likely outlast any who could tread them now. Any who look closely will notice an opening directly above the Balefire that disappears into the stone. |
