Gun Control:
Devin supports the people's right to bear arms. By 2044, the year Devin will win the Presidency, gun control will be a crucial issue. Devin proposes inserting smart chips into the handle of all handguns that will track the use of handguns. The chip will transmit information on ownership and location of use every time the gun is fired. This information can be accessed by police authorities for investigation in crimes. In this manner, when a crime is committed, a quick check of handguns that were fired at the location of the crime and at the time of the crime will immediately identify the owner of the weapon. Each chip installed in handguns will be directly linked to a fingerprint file that will prohibit anyone from using the weapon that is not authorized to use that weapon. This system will greatly reduce the use of handguns in violent crimes. Also the chip, using GPS tracking, will be able to identify the owner of the weapon used at crime scenes even if the weapon was not fired. The same principles will apply to the use of laser ray guns as well as ballistic handguns. Thus, violent crimes will be reduced and law-abiding citizens will retain the right to bear arms as allowed by the Constitution of the United States of America.
Equal rights for Robots:
In 2044 the issue of Robot rights will be an important issue for all Americans. Devin believes that it is humane to give fair treatment to those of the robotic persuasion in many areas. He does not believe that robots should have the right to vote, the right to bear arms, nor does he believe in human / droid marriage. It is Devin's belief that robots are created to support mankind's efforts on this planet. Robots should be given all rights as citizens with only limited exclusions as stated above. Any robot found to be involved in a crime should be immediately dismantled and recycled, ecluding logic circuitry which should be destroyed to prevent future use in other robots.
Planetary Population and Protection:
Devin continues to support the Mars Population Bill which will restrict the population of Mars from exceeding twenty percent of that of Earth. Devin believes that we must take the necessary precations to prevent Mars' environment from damage that may result in overpopulation of the Red Planet.
Devin also supports the Mars Defense Force and believes that the United States of America should continue to support and fund the unilateral efforts to keep Mars free from colonization by the terrorist empire of Al-Qaeda currently located on Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. Any attack on the peaceful inhabitants of Mars will be considered a direct attack against the people of the United States of America.
Devinomics:
Devin believes smaller government and lower taxes will help the economy grow stronger. Devin proposes to eliminate all state and federal sales taxes on items made in the U.S.A. This will further encourage citizens to purchase products made here in America. All other economic policy will just be copied off of Ronald Reagan since he was the greatest President ever.
