Black Bread- baked soft and full flavored from Gorean grains. It is heavy and dark in color, served with clotted Bosk cream or honey.
Blueberries- smuggled to Gor from Earth.
Bosk- this animal closely resembles the cattle of Earth.  Served roasted and sliced, or as steaks.
Butter- Churned from the milk of the Bosk or the Verr.
Celine Melon- similar to honeydue melon, served chilled and sliced.
Cheese- made from the milk of the Bosk or Verr.
Cherries- from the island of Tyros, rare to find.
Chocolate- made from the coca beans, grown in the south.
Cosian Wingfish- called so for its ability to fly above the waters of the Thassa for short distances. The liver is considered a delicacy
Dates- from the sity of Tor, a staple of the Tahari Tribesman. They are sold in a tef (a handful with the 5 fingers closed, a tefa is 6 tefs- a small basket, five baskets are a huda).
Eel- River, Black and Spotted eel are considered a delicacy.
Egg- Eggs of the migratory Arctic gant, when frozen they are eaten like apples.
Gant- a small long-legged horned bird, broad-billed and broad-winged.  Marsh Gants are hunted by marsh girls for food, Jungle Gants inhabit the river in rainforests inland of Schendi;  and Arctic Gants, a migritory bird that nests in the mountain of Hrimgar on cliffs.
Ka`la`na- a sweet juicy fruit, similar to a pear.
Katch- Foliated leaf vegetable similar to lettuce.
Kes- a shrub whose salty, blue secondary roots are an ingredient in sulage.
Kort- large rinded fruit of the Tahari, served sliced with melted cheese and nutmeg. Sometimes called the pit fruit because of its large single stone.
Larma na lon- fried larma with a browned honey sauce.
Larma- apple like- Single seeded apple like fruit, also called a pit fruit, a variation of the succelent juicy larma.
Larma, succulent- succulent, juicy fruit, sometimes sliced and fried, served with browned honey sauce.  Offering a larma, real or imagined, by a slave girl to her Master is a silent plea for the girl to be raped.
Marsh Shark- transported from the marshes. served as filets or shark steaks.
Melon, apple like- yellowish red striped spheres.
Merlot Grapes- a darker grape, used to make merlot wine.
Olives- these are commonly from the city of Tor, referred to as Torian olives.
Parsit Fish- slender striped fish.
Peaches- similar to Earth peaches.
Pit Fruit- hard larma, a firm, single seeded apple like fruit.
Ram Berries- small reddish fruit with edible seeds, like small plums, Eaten raw, made into jams, pies and juice.
Red Olives- from the groves of Tyros.
Redfruit- similar in flesh and taste to apples of Earth.  There is no reference to redfruit found in the books, this is an IRCism.
Rence- a water plant.  Its grain is eaten, stems harvested and pressed into paper or woven into cloth.  The grain can be boiled or ground into paste and sweetened, can be fried into a type of pancake.
Sa Tarna- a grain, yellow in color, brewed into paga, or ground and used to make Sa Tarna bread.
Sa Tarna Bread- known as Yellow Bread. Staple of Gor meals, it is a rounded, flat loaf, marked into six sections before baking.
Salt- some of the salt mines are at Kasra and Tor, these deliver red salt, red from the ferrous oxide in its composition, a delicacy.  There is also yellow and white salts.
Salt Thassa Fish- a small fish from the gleeming Thassa Sea, served baked or broiled.
Spices- nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, spikenard, peper.
Sugar- The sugars are yellow and white.
Sul- starchy golden brown, vine born fruit, tuberous root of the Sul plant, principle ingredient in sullage.
Can be baked, sliced and fried, similar to a potato, except it grows above ground.
Ta Grapes- similar to Earth grapes, purple or white in color, grown in vineyards of Cos.
Tabuk- like an antelope, but with one horn.  Its meat is cut into steaks and grilled.
Tamber Gulf Oysters- from the Tamber Gulf, served raw or baked.
Tarsk- Porcine animal similar to a pig.
Tasta- sweet succulent candy on a stick,
normally found in parks, promenades and popular events.  Can be coated with chocolate or fudge.  Typical flavors include mint, licorice, fruit flavors and peppermint.
Tospit- small yellow peach like fruit that grows on bushes, similar to a lemon with a skin more like a husk.  About the size of a plum, very bitter, but edible.  used in kalda as a garnish, or eaten candied, cut up and dipped in honey.
Tumits- large carnivorous bird of the plains.  Hunted and eaten by the Nomadic people of Gor.
Tur Pah- edible tree parasite with curly red ovate leaves that grow on the Tur tree.
Verr- a goat like animal.  Meat can be eaten, roasted or grilled, the milk can be used for drinking or the making of cheese and butter.
Vosk Carp- a carp fish from the river Vosk. Served baked, fried or broiled.
Vosk Sorp- a shellfish similar to an Oyster, like an oyster, it manufactures pearls.  Often used in making soups and stews.
Vulo- a small pigeon like bird that can be cooked and eaten.  The very small eggs are cooked for the breakfast meal by frying them in a large flat pan.  Takes several birds, or many eggs to make a meal.  Serrved roasted and spiced.
Ale- a lager type beer, served in a tall tankard, or if requested, a horn
Bazi Tea- an herbal tea that comes in many varieties. served steaming hot and heavily sugared. There are two methods of serving the tea 1) a formal serve, just short of a Japanese tea ceremony, the tea being measured into three tiny cups, drank in rapid succession, each with varying amounts of sugars and creamers. 2) informally, in a regular sized cup, prepared as the Free Persons requests.
Beer- Rence beer is common in the marsh communities.  It is steeped, boiled and fermented from crushed seeds and the pith of the rence plant.  Served at room temperature or chilled, in a tankard or horn.
Black Wine- the equivalent of expresso coffee. served in a cup, prepared to the Free Persons liking.  First slave is with sugars and/or creamers, prepared to the Free Persons tastes.  Second slave is black, nothing added.
Cho- made with paga, chocolate and cream.
Hot Chocolate- warmed chocolate is made from the beans of the cacao tree, it is a rich and creamy drink served in a cup.
Juices- many varieties of juice, larma fruit juice and ramberry juice are among the most popular, served chilled in a goblet.
Kal`da- an alcoholic drink served scalding hot.  Made of diluted ka-la-na wine, mixed with citrus juices and spices.  Served in a bowl.
Ka`la`na- a sweet, bright irredescent red wine, made of ka`la`na fruit. Served in a goblet, room temperature, warmed or chilled.
Mead- this is made with fermented honey, water and usually some spices. served heated, room temperature or chilled.
Milk- milk comes from the verr, bosk and kaiila usually, with kaiila milk being reddish in color and salty to the taste.  Served hot in a bowl or cold in a cup.
Milk Curds- an alcoholic drink favored by the Wagon Peoples.  Served in a bowl.
Paga- a fermented brew made from Sa-Tarna grain, a whiskey like drink.  Served at room temperature in a bowl (Can also be served warmed, its believed that the effects are felt faster this way).
Sul Paga- alcoholic drink made from suls, a vegetable like a potato, a vodka, or moonshine like drink.  Its clear, almost tasteless, and very strong.  Served at room temperature in a bowl.
Ta Wine- made from the Ta grapes of Cos, served room temperature or chilled in a goblet.
Turian Liquors- Turian wine is sweet, almost like a syrup, heavily flavored and sugared
