Sergeant Major Brace Khroff Overview:
Brace was born to a military family and all that came with it. He dealt with changing locations from one base to the next and all the rules. He did not see much of his father during the early years of his life and spent most of his time under his mothers skirt, as his father would say. This was something that his father did not want. He would tell his wife, "My son will not be a wussy Mommas' boy." Those were the words he remembered the most of his father from an early age.

During his time there, Brace used those words to excel and was rewarded with extensive night training and stealth training. Brace also scored high enough to get into the accelerated training program. It was also here that he was turned on to video game world. He found that it relaxed him as well as helped his hand-eye coordination and speed.

The next 2 years, he followed in his father's footsteps, taking extensive training in Infantry, Marines, and finally in Special Forces. Brace found out during his Special Forces training that he had a liking for and excelled in the field of demolitions and security.

Brace then signed on for a 2-year tour in the Inner sphere hoping to get as much experience as he could. Once again he used those early words from his father to push him and he soon earned his first of many promotions.

It was at the end of that tour that Brace was offered a position that took him to another 2-year tour, except this time in the Federated Sun. He ended up fighting in St. Ives against what he thought were his allies. With the situation heating up between the Lyran and Davion sides of the
Federated Commonwealth, and with some prodding from the Capellans, who were more than happy to "Help," Brace found himself in a dangerous situation. The whole thing was a powder keg waiting for a spark. While it was felt throughout the entire military forces, it was the infantry ranks that felt it the most. Gun battles between Federated Commonwealth forces were not uncommon, but should not have been.

Brace put in a second tour with the 8th Syrtis Fusiliers RCT and during a major fire fight Brace showed that all that training and experience paid off. Taking heavy fire Brace did what he knew best, and that was blowing things up. It was skill and luck that won him that Silver Starburst. Afterwards, some high ranking officer, who has a degree in psychology, decided that Brace would be better off getting a break from that kind of fighting, and yet wanted to reward him for his actions. It was a tough to find something that would take him out of the kind of fighting Brace was used to, but yet, not have his new assignment seem like was being punished or being treated with kid gloves. After a few tests and a little training, Brace's future was decided and was awarded the position of security chief on the Deep Blue Sea.
