Leftenant | Roger Morrison | Overview: |
![]() |
Dewayne Morrison must be spinning in his grave knowing that his son, Roger, has sided with the Davions. Dewayne served with the Lyran Commonwealth military all his life, and was award the Order Of Katherine Stiener, an award reserved for Aerospace pilots who have distinguished themselves above and beyond the call of duty. It was the pride and joy of Dewayne's accomplishments, and he had high hopes that his son would be able to do something amazing in a fighter as well.
Roger started off in the typical fashion for a noble family with recent military roots, having been sent to Military School. In Roger's third year of four, his father passed away after suffering a massive heart attack. This left him with the family Aerospace Fighter, a STU-D6 Stuka. After completing military school, Roger moved on to enroll in Alarion Academy. He wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a fighter pilot, and he did, graduating at the top of his class. He only wished his father could have been alive to see it. His training was not just your basic pilot, he trained to become an Aerospace Pilot Specialist. His first unit loved having him, but they were too hardcore Lyran for his taste. The other members of his unit found that he did not share their ideals, and there was an incident of "Friendly Fire." Shortly afterwards, Roger requested a transfer. His request was going to be denied, but since Roger could prove that the incident was no accident, his commanding officer let him leave, avoiding embarrassment for the whole unit. After a brief tour of raids inside the Clan |
| Occupation Zone, Roger ended up in a Davion unit that saw action in the St. Ives. Once again he faced off with Stiener loyalists, and this drove him to side with the Davions, Victor in particular. Afterwards, Roger found himself in the Chaos March, fighting with people he could count on, people who also trusted Victor's side of the feud.
His assignment to the Deep Blue Sea came after a private conversation with a friend of his from his days in the Chaos March. He stated that he wanted to get away from the normal grind and pressures associated with a BattleMech unit. With a word and a few favours collected, Roger was posted as AeroWing Commander to the Deep Blue Sea. |
