1. all fanfiction submissions must be sent to [email protected] with the subject title "contest" or the message will be deleted.
2. all submissions must be in before June 20, 2004.
3. the submissions must follow ordinary fanfic submission rules (see the submissions page for more info).
4. only one fic may be submitted by each author.
5. I (falconess) will be the judge of the fanfics. any attempts at flattery or compliments to try and win my favor will be ignored (this has happened before in another case, and the person got their head bitten off).
6. the winner will be announced sometime from mid-late June to early July, depending on how many/how long submissions are.
7. this is an unbiased judging. if you accuse me of picking favorites when the contest is over should it appear to be so, i will tell you to fuck yourself and insult you mercilessly further.
8. prizes will be announced sometime before the winner is declared. i am a poor woman, but i will manage something for the winner. i will also be putting up a winners' page, where a banner (or something) will be put up, in recognition of the winner.
9. i will put up all fanfics submitted on my fanfiction page, regardless of whether it wins or not.
10. if there are any questions, please contact me immediately, and dont be afraid of what you consider "stupid questions" i consider no question stupid (unless you ask me what my shoe size is...that is a stupid question).
11. rules may change, depending. I WILL NOT ACCEPT UNFINISHED FANFICTIONS! THEY MUST BE COMPLETE OR THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CONTEST! you can, however, let me know if you have an unfinished one that you want to submit, just don't send me what you have so far. tell me it's not done but will be soon and then i will wait until it's sent in. let me know your progress, just dont kill my inbox with unfinished stuff.
12. don't stress. it doesn't matter if you don't win or not, you will still get your fic up on my site and i will be putting the names of the authors up on a special page, even if you dont win. it's not a great consolation, but it's the best i can do.
13. have fun with it! i will not be mean to anyone or show favoritism, believe me, i hate everyone equally (lol) so there will be no favorites. should anyone be angry when the winner is announced, i will try to ignore you as best i can, i promise.
14. my shoe size is 8-81/2, just so you aren't tempted to email me about that.
