The Falcon Raiders were commisioned February 3058 by Khan Elias Crichel as a reward to Star Captains Daemon, Elizabeth, and Michelle upon their earning of the Mattlov bloodname in January.
Rumors among outside Mechwarriors seem to indicate that the unit may be the military arm of the Falcon Watch. These rumors seem to be at least partially correct as Kael Pershaw, the head of the Falcon intelligence community, has repeatedly supported the units actions in the Clan council.
As of yet, no outside warriors have been able to gain access to information that states exactly what parts Michelle and Elizabeth Mattlov play in the units organization. What is known is that two trinaries of battlemechs and warriors are missi
ng from the Blood Falcon organization chart.
So far,the unit has fought only three significant battles.
March 3058:
Jumped in system of classified planet in upper occupation
zone. Reports had come through that FedCom forces were
mounting an offensive from this planet within the next three
months. Force of Rapier, and four Incubuses destroyed
expeditionary force and captured command depot.
April 3058:
Arrived at pirate point in Ghost Bear OZ. Though outnumbered,
the landing party managed to pull out a narrow victory
after Daemon and Jose pulled off a daring 4-2
Trial of Possession.
May 3058:
Landed command star on classified Lyran planet. Though suffering no losses, superior officers agree that more
honor would be in order if less forces had been used.
Star Colonel Daemon Mattlov was born January 16, 3035 from a Mattlov/Icaza sibko. One of four cadets from this sibko to live to their Trials of Position Daemon demonstrated at an early age that he was destined for greatness. Of the remaining three sib cadets in his sibko, all three tested through to become warriors. Though Daemon was the first out of his sibko to gain his bloodname, only three days later two of the remaining three had also won the right to carry the Mattlov bloodname.
What was unusual about the Trial for this particular sibko, is that Daemon and his two sibsisters Elizabeth and Michelle went into their trials together and all three came out after defeating all three of their opponents. Though the remaining cadet did e arn mechwarrior, he only managed to defeat one of his opponents.

Though a strong bond has developed between Daemon, Elizabeth and Michelle, the bond appears to be the strongest between Michelle and Daemon. Rarely ever seen when not together, Michelle and Daemon appear to work almost flawlessly as a pair.
