I would like for someone to tell me where in the Standard it states how many steps a fantail has to take, Not that she can't walk".......Simple she is not afraid of you......to this day she still thinks I'm her mate! Many very well respected breeders have commented on her as the best ever bred...hell of a compliment, she is deceiving though, tail size is only 11 3/4 inches yet notice the toptail, she is 5 1/2 inches tall, wingline and refinement awesom and yes she can walk and keep it all together with tramendous ease. One thing that is awsome about her is the depth of body, almost as deep as she is tall, the real challenge I still think is that same dimension accross the front.......Hello that is and will be our hardest body trait to reach.....is it possible?.....I don't think so but time may proove me wrong!

FF 247-01 "Babes" is in my mind and many others she is the finnest fantail I have bred to date, yet has not won Grand Champion, she has two reserves under her at CCFC Fantasia, and at the CFC Annual in 2001. Decent record but I think she..."In my mind"...should have won both shows. But this is why the hobby is fun and there are descrepincies......for "Babes" she has one fault,.... if it is a fault..She's too TAME!!! At both shows she had lost due to both judges saying that she does not walk enough......What? how many points can that possibly ?be worth?...

'Babes" was finnaly crowned Grand Champion at the 2003 CCFC Annual and to date this is my first Grand Champion win in Canada
