Vrasi - Caste.  The word means "Skills of Need". Each Vrasi was created with the notion to build our culture there would different and varying jobs which must be accomplished.  No one can or should do everything.  Its somewhat inconceivable that everyone should do all the jobs.  Division of labor is a fundimental part of a sociaty.  The Vrasi were also designed with the intent to ensure that all skills would be utilized in an orderly manner.

Vrasi are not really social ranks as each Vrasi is viewed as being equal before the ThunderHawk Compact. Thought to a limeted extent they are passed on within a Tharrin.  the ordering of the Vrasi is [loosely!] based on the Indian Caste system.  One's Vrasi is determined by the matralinral line which means mating between Vrasi is permitted.

There are three Falcanian Vrasi:  The Konar [Warriors] Tahru [Scientists/Philosophers/ healers] and Guilthari [Workers/Craftsmen].  We will go deeper into their functions.

Tahru [Scientists/Philosophers/ healers]:  Those who are Tahru are the thinkers and ponderers among us.  Their role is similar to that of the ancient Druids (Please understand that they are not Druids nor claim to be) in that the Tahru are keepers of Falcanian knowledge... they tend the scrolls and histories, explore science unraveling the Universe so that we as a people can use this information for our benefit. There is a subcatagory within the Tahru, that of the Jah, a teacher or guru who usually is left in charge of the ashram and overlooks the Khanate's spiritual needs.  The Jah is one who would strictly be called a philosopher and a temple jah would tend the flame that represents the "All-Spark" within an ashram.

Guilthari [Workers/Craftsmen]:  The builders those who construct all the things that a Falcanian needs.  Clothing, weapons, pots and pans.  If a Falcanian needs it chances are a Guilthari made it.  Even the hallowed Kraris.

Konar [Warriors]: Falcanian believe that the best way to maintain shras ["peace"] is through strength.  Every sociaty needs its warriors.
