| I am a 28 Year old artist, living in Stirling, Scotland. Although I was originally born near Nottingham, I have lived in Stirling for over 10 years. I have no formal art qualifications (my degree is in English and Film studies) and am entirely self-taught. I started to paint about 5 years ago when I was unhappy and looking for a new distraction. My influences are varied, with many coming from my pagan faith, (I have been a Pagan for as long as I can remember) as well as cultural interests and some of the places I was lucky enough to travel to when I was younger. I love colour and this is evident in my work. I like to experiment with different media and new styles of work, and this is when I find some of my favourite techniques. I find painting and scuplting relaxing, and my friends find it almost as relaxing to watch me work. I have just finished my first public exhibition, at the GLC in Glasgow. This ran from the 29th January - 22nd May 2005. It was very sucessful with excellent feedback, sales and an invitiation from the venue to return.
