Actress Eliza Dushku may seem like the new girl, but she was right at home making an appearance at the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall this week. "I used to do my Christmas shopping [there]," said the Watertown native, who is on a promotional tour for "The New Guy," which opens nationally next week. If you watch the talk shows, you'll be seeing a lot of Dushku in the next few weeks - late at night and in the early morning. "Do you think there could be too much of me?" she asked. Not likely. For those who knew her in her days at Watertown High, her latest movie roles may seem like a bit of a stretch. "I was not the cheerleading type," said the 21-year-old. In "The New Guy," she plays the nice girl to DJ Qualls's "new guy." So where does a budding movie star hang out in her hometown? "I went to Whiskey Park with some of the Pats [that would be Super Bowl Champ Patriots] ... and have a few family functions," said Dushku. "I love coming home."
