Sexy Eliza Dushku is best known as Faith from Buffy and the coolest cheerleader on the block in Bring It On. If you've been dying to see more of her, you'll be pleased to know that she has a string of new movies coming soon. We caught up with her to see what's in store...

Who's in your Soul Survivors ?
Wes Bentley and Casey Affleck. We get in this nasty car crash and from that point on you don't know who is alive, who is dead, what's real and what isn't. It's I Know What You Did Last Summer meets The Sixth Sense.

How did you get along with them ?
None of us knew Wes when we started and one day he said, "Hey guys, I'm in this movie called American Beauty and we're having a screening if you want to come." We went and by the end we were all like, "Oh my God, dude ! That was amazing !"

You have a big wound on your face in the movie, right ?
Emotionally, it kind of freaked me out. I used to call my mum and say, "Mum, I'm sick of dying every night."

Do you like the characters you play ?
I usually get offered bad girls which is fine. I'm just looking for parts about interesting young women - there's still stories left to be told about them. I prefer to play the bad girl with some depth.

How did you get started ?
I was tagging along with my brother on an audition and fell and hit my face and for a bloody nose, turned into an instant drama queen and they were like, "Who's the kid ?"

How did you get the Bring It On role ?
They were like, "Can you do gymnastics ?" I said, "I do yoga". They said, "Well, can you do a split ?" And I said, "Why don't we see ?" and performed one on the spot. We had four weeks of cheerleading boot camp before we started shooting and it gave me a new respect for cheerleading.

Do you get recognised all the time ?
Some guy [at a hotel bar] asked me if I was on TV, and I said yes, and he threw his drink at me. I was recognised but my face was wet. It was nuts !

After high-school, Eliza won the part of troubled-slayer Faith in Buffy. It was only meant to be a small role but she won everyone over and the role became recurring for Season 3.
