sorry about the other part of the story guys. I accidentally named it my other story. It was supposed to be name In The Blink of an Eye 4/?. So here we go, I was also away on vacation for a week, and that was the week when I got all of my ideas so I am sorry it was another long wait. School starts soon too so I have to put that first, I will do as much as I can. ************************************************************************************************************************** Charlie lay asleep beside his mom on her hospital bed. Faith and Bosco had talked to him a little bit about what happened and he eventually fell asleep after a half an hour of crying. Bosco looked at Faith as she was dozing in and out of sleep. "Hey, what are you looking at?" Faith asked with a laugh in her half asleep state. "Just you, I think you should get some rest." Bosco said softly. "Nah, I'm fine, I've been resting for the past while, it feels good to be awake and talking to someone." Faith replied. "We could stay with ya Faith, that way you get a break from this guy and he can get some rest." Carlos said jokingly as he and Kim walked into Faith's room. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean,?" Bosco asked in a mockingly hurt tone. "Whatever you want it to mean Bos." Kim said with a laugh as she sat down beside Faith. "How are you doing Faith?" Faith just looked down at her hands and started to cry, Kim became extremely concerned, "Faith, what is it?" she asked. "Kim she...." Bosco started but was cut off by Faith saying don't. "I'll tell her, Kim, Carlos, the docs say that I am paralysed. I have some bruising around my spine, it could get better and I could walk again, but then again I might not." Faith said as she tried to calk herself down. "Oh Faith. I'm so sorry." Kim said as she pulled her friend into a hug. "Man, wow, I don't know what to say Faith, except that I'm sorry." Carlos babbled out. "Thank you both for your support, and Bosco, I think that you should listen to them and go home. Get some sleep in, get cleaned up. I'll be fine, I promise. It's not like I am going anywhere." Faith said with a slight chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. "I don't want to leave you Faith." Bosco replied softly. "I know, but you can come back, but please do this for me, it would make me feel better if I knew that you were well rested." Faith said taking his hand in hers. "Alright, fine. But I promise I wont be gone long. Call me if anything happens. Anything at all." Bosco sternly said. "Yes daddy." Faith replied making a baby face. "Aw, don't make that face or I will never leave." Bosco chuckled as he stood and kissed Faith's cheek. Walking towards the door he turned around and took one last look at Faith. "Bye, and Kim, Carlos, thanks." he said. Faith shooed him away with her hand and laughed out the word bye. Faith then put her hand up to her cheek. ~~Did he just kiss me?~~ She thought with a confused smile on her face. Outside the door Bosco stopped, ~~Did I just kiss her?~~ he thought. Shaking his head and still very much confused he headed home. "You guys don't really have to stay, I'm fine here with Charlie. And when Bosco comes back I will just tell him that you guys had to go to work." Faith told the couple. "Trying to get rid of us Faith? Seriously we want to stay, your our friend and we are here for you." Kim said sweetly while placing her hand on top of Faith's and patting it. "Thank you, it really means a lot." was Faith's reply. "Is there anything I can get you Faith, an extra pillow, something to eat or drink?" Carlos asked, wanting to help and actually be in the conversation. ************************************************************************************************************************** "What the hell are you doing?!" Ty yelled at the robber. "What is it Ty?" asked a confused Sully. "Sul, take a good long look, at this guy, see anything familiar?" Ty asked as he cuffed the perp. Sully took a long look and finally, the lightbulb went off in his head. "MIKEY?!" Sully asked. "The one and only Sully. How do you think Bosco is going to take this, first his mom loses her bar, then this whole thing with Faith and now we got his brother in lock up again. The guy is going to snap." Ty said shaking his head as he put Mikey in the back of the RMP. "Lets not tell him just yet. Lets wait to see if Faith gets out of Mercy in the next couple of days, if not, then we will have to tell him because it looks like Mikey is going away for a long time." Sully replied as he went around to the drivers door. "I hope she does, not just for her sake, but for Bosco's too." Ty added as they drove off to the house. ************************************************************************************************************************* Bosco had gone home and showered. Taken a little nap otherwise he knew that he would have to get another lecture form Faith. On his way up to her floor he passed the gift shop. Inside he spotted a little white bear that had a heart in its paws that said "Best Friends Till The End." and he knew he had to buy it for her. He also grabbed some white roses, knowing that they were her favourite. He walked up to the door and stopped when got to it. Kim and Carlos were gone and so was Charlie. But Faith was sound asleep in bed. Her face peaceful and more content than it had been the last time he saw her sleeping. Her hair was placed flowingly around her pillow. "She's beautiful" Bosco said aloud. A smile then tugged at the corners of Faith's lips. "I thank you for that compliment Bosco, but I am sure I look like hell." Bosco blushed and walked closer to her. "You weren't supposed to hear that you know." "But I did and I think its sweet." Faith replied, turning her head and opening her eyes to face him. "These are for you." he quickly said handing her the flowers. "Oh Bosco, thank you so much, white roses, my favourite." Faith beamed. "Oh and this," He said pulling out the bear. "I think it fits us perfectly." he added with a smile. Faith read the bear's heart and tears sprung in her eyes. "Don't you like it?" Bosco asked worriedly. "No, I absolutely love it. Your right it does fit us perfectly." Faith said as she reached up and gave Bosco a big hug. ~~This feels so right. I cant even describe how I feel right now. I have got to find the courage to tell her how I feel about her.~~ Bosco thought as he was in Faith's arms. Bosco pulled away. "I just realised, I woke you up. I'm terribly sorry, I should let you sleep." "No, no don't worry about it Bosco. I have to get up to go to my physio appointment anyway. In fact I am glad that you came back when you did, because I was hoping, that is if its not asking too much, that you would help me with them. I would feel alot better if you were there with me." said Faith. "Of course I would be happy to help you. I know you told me before that you don't think that its my fault, but I still feel like I could have at least warned you that the car was coming." Bosco replied. "Bosco, we were both taken by surprise, I don't want you to go on blaming yourself for something you never had any control over. It happened in the blink of an eye. Promise me that you wont go on like this. Its not your fault. Ok? End of story." Faith told him. "Yes ma'am" Bosco said with a mock salute. "Bosco I am serious,, please promise me this." Faith pleaded. "Alright. You know that I can't say no to you. I will not go on blaming myself for this." Bosco said sincerely. Faith smiled back at him. "Thank you." *************************************************************************************************************************** Back in Boy-55-3 Carlos and Kim were driving around having received only minor calls today. "Did you see that Bosco kissed Faith. You don't think that there is going on between the two of them?" Carlos asked Kim "Not that I know of. Faith I am sure would have told me about something like that. Why would it matter if anything was going on anyway, I have always thought that they would make a perfect couple. Ever since I saw them working together, it was just something about the way they interacted. And the thing that made my prediction even more true was when I saw them at our wedding together. Remember, her husband left because after some fight they had had, and Bosco stayed with her and comforted her. Then when she was recomposed, he danced the night away with her. They way he danced with her was so beautiful. He held her close but not to tightly. He carried her across the floor with the grace of a true dancer and it was something that I never thought I would see Bosco do." Kim said. Carlos shook his head. "I do remember that. But I remember you on that night even more so, you were so beautiful." "WERE!?" Kim asked in mock hurt. "You still are, but you know what I mean." Carlos quickly responded. "I know I know, I just like getting that reaction out of you." Kim smirked. Carlos just shook his head with a smile. "But on the note of Faith and Bosco, I think that we should set them up. Like maybe one night after Faith gets out of the hospital, we can ask them out on a double date and then we don't show up and call about fifteen minutes after we were supposed to meet them and then they can have dinner by themselves." Carlos suggested. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Now I know I definitely married the smartest, kindest and hottest man on the planet." Kim said pulling the bus over and giving Carlos a kiss. After the kiss Carlos said "I have been telling you that for years, but you never listen." *************************************************************************************************************************** Sully and Ty brought the RMP to a stop outside the house and dragged Mikey in. "Hey Lieu, we got one for armed robbery." Sully said as he grabbed the paperwork and Ty took him back to the cells. "Isn't that Boscorelli's brother?" Swerski asked. "The one and only boss. Can you believe it. This is just turning out to be one hell of a week. First there was the car accident that seriously injured Faith and now this. Bosco was a wreck already with Faith, now with this, you might want to make him take some time off." Sully suggested. "I think that I will do that. I was going to anyway because I know that Faith doesn't really have anyone at home and is having family problems, I was thinking Bosco could spend some time with her." replied Swerski. "Good, he needs it. I'm going to go back with Ty, talk to you later Boss." Sully said walking away from the desk. **************************************************************************************************************************** Ok, again sorry its so short.
