Unbreak My Heart

By the time you read this, I'll be out of the country to my new job post. I'm writing this letter to you 
because, if I were to see you again I know that I will be holding back my emotions, as you would bring 
forth happiness. I knew this would happen, like all artist who have had girlfriends when they were starting 
a band, I myself felt happy to be in your arms whenever you or I have the chance to see one another. 
However, our happiness ends when we must depart for our careers. I don't want you to get the idea that I 
never loved you, I did and still do. Your busy schedule, your new life was something we were both 
unprepared for. It wasn't before when you where singing music and I excavating sites in England. We had 
all the time together. I will always remember you and our times. I just think that it is your time to let go 
of the past and just focus on your career, your future and I truly respect that. I don't want to be the one 
that distracts you. Just remember that I still love you and always will. If our paths do meet again, I hope 
we can just see each other as just friends. 
Enclosed with this letter is the engagement ring you gave me. I will leave it in your hands to discard or 
keep it as a token of our past.

", are you coming? The party starts in an hour," asked
"Ah ya" I had said. It had been a year since, and he still remembers that day very clearly. The day he came 
home to his and's place, waiting for her to run through the doors so that he could have her in his 
arms once again. But instead was left with a note. I retuned back to reality only to be looking at a ring. 
"You still love her don't you?" 
"Always had," I replied looking up at the night sky. He placed the ring back into his pocket and walked 
out of the door,
"Let's go my friend"
