Chapter 2

‘I’m a idiot I know, I’ve been taken them for a while now for no reason’ I said to her 

‘I’ll say you’re a idiot’ she said to me ‘Thanks’ I sighed rubbing my chest I felt a scratch mark wheremust of scratched me earlier. ‘Sorry’ 
she said looking at where me hand was ‘S’ok I deserve it’ I said 

stood up ‘Let’s get into bed it’s cold’ she said looking at me then got into bed I got up and got into bed next to her. ‘you don’t 
have anymore drugs on you do you? She asked me. ‘No babe why? I asked her ‘Cos if you did I would ask you to get rid of them’ she said to
 me as she hugged me.

‘Oh right no babe I don’t, Lets just sleep as it’s late’ I said to her

‘Ok night’ she said to me. ‘Night’ I said as I held her close to me

The next morning we both did not say much to each other.left and went back to where she lived and I went back to work.

I had got my own flat sorted and had toldthe address.

3 days after what I did tothere was a knock at my flat door. I thought it was funny, as I had not told many about the flat. I opened 
the door and some bloke pushed me in and pushed me up against the wall ‘How dare you treat her like that’ he said to me pushing me against 
the wall.

‘don’t’ I heard then sawwho was out of breath. ‘Please’ she grabbed onto his arm. I looked at him and closed my eyes as it look 
like he was gonna hit me.

I felt someone close to my body and opened my eyes to findstanding in between us both. ‘I’ll see you at home’said and kissed 
her then left slamming the door behind him. ‘God I thought he was gonna hit…. Wahoo’ I said grabbingas her legs sort of went. I 
held onto her and walked her to the sofa and sat her down and got her a glass of water. ‘Here drink this’ I said to handing her the glass. ‘What 
was that about?’ I asked her ‘friend told him about us and I had to tell all’ she said to me ‘He was the one who you spoke to outside the 
club on New Year’ I said ‘Yeah how you know? She looked at me  ‘I saw in the mirror’ I said to her ‘Oh yeah him’ said to me. I just 
looked at her not knowing what to say to her.

‘So this is your flat then’ she said standing up ‘Yep what you think? I asked her.

‘Very nice, did not now you had enough money for a baby grand piano’ she said as she played a couple of keys. ‘Well I liked it’ I said to her 
as I watched her look at the view then the kitchen. I got up from the sofa and walked over to her ‘That’s my music room’ I said to her as she 
had a look around then walked to my bedroom.

‘My bedroom’ I said walking in and sitting on my bed. She looked around.

‘Don’t you know what curtains are’ she looked at the window.

‘Yeah I do but I like letting in the sun light’ I said to her, she nodded and left the room and went back to sitting on the sofa. I went and sat 
next to her.

‘knows everything right? I asked her ‘Yeah he does ’she said to me ‘Good’ I said, well it was not good but it don’t matter.

‘’ she said to me ‘Yes’ I looked her. Then she kissed me on the lips, I kissed her back and pulled off. ‘I missed you’ she said to me ‘I missed 
you too’ I said to her kissing her again. I pulled her close to me kissing her more and more.

We had sex on the sofa right there, I pulled up off her and got u and started to walk to the kitchen. ‘Hey were you going?said to me 
as she grabbed me round the waist. ‘Nowhere’ I said to her pulling her into my room and onto my bed.

We had sex again in my room, I dunno what was going on or why we were both like this. We both lay next to each other on my bed.

‘will expect you back soon’ I said ‘Yeah I suppose’ she said to me.

There was something different about her but I could not put my finger on it.

She got up and went off to find her clothes. ‘Here saves you moving’ she said to me placing my clothes on the bed. I got dressed back into 
my clothes.

‘Are we gonna keep in touch still’ I asked looking at her ‘Yeah sure, sorry but I have to go now’ she said kissing me on the lips. I kissed her 
back. ‘You know how to reach me’ she said going to the door ‘Yup chat soon’ I said saying bye to her.

Couple of days later I went round my mates flat, there was something in my head aboutthat I could not work out.

I knocked on the door and my mate opened the door and invited me in. As I walked into the living room the was ‘what you doing here? 
I asked him ‘Came with Rachel, I’m not dating her anymore but we are close friends’ he said ‘They came over to chat as we are all friends now’ 
my mate said ‘Rachel’ I said as she walked out the bathroom before I could say anymore ‘Hey’ she said as she saw me ‘Hey you alright? I asked 
her ‘Yeah great thanks’ she said asgave her a funny look.

‘Hey why don’t we go out for a drink and a dance’ my mate said.

‘Yeah that sounds great’smiled ‘Lad’s’ my mate looked at me and

‘Yeah sure’ me andsaid at the same time. We went off to the club and her some drinks.

A couple of drinks later my mate andwent off to dance leaving me with matt.

‘How comes your not withanymore? I asked him breaking the silence.

looked at me ‘Look I promised  I would not say anything but I can’t keep this from you’ he said to me. I got confused at that point.

‘She became pregnant with you child and I could not date someone who was having another mans baby’ He said  ‘What is carrying 
my baby’ I said shocked. She had not said anything to me about this.

‘She was, she lost the baby a couple of days ago’explained to me.

My mate just walked back to the table’ Hey go dance with’ he said to me ‘Sorry I have to go’ I said looking atdancing. I just 
left the club with no explanation and went back to my flat. 10 mins later there was a knock at the door and there was my mate ‘said he 
had told you’ he walked in ‘Wait you knew? I looked at him ‘yeah she did not know what to do and who to tell so I was there for her’ he 
said ‘She should of told me the father’ I looked at him ‘It was hard for her, she became pregnant due to that time in the hotel when you 
were out of it’ my mate looked at me.

‘But she was here the other day’ I said ‘Yeah she was still carrying the baby then’ he looked at me.

‘I thought there was something different about her I mean the sex we had was great better then before’ I said ‘Look she lost the baby and she 
called me andfor help, she was scared to phone you’ my mate said.

‘She still should of told me’ I said to him ‘Yeah I know she should of, look come back to mine and chat to her about it’ my mate looked at 
me, I nodded back to him. I did not know if I wanted to talk toor what to say to her. We arrived back at my mates flat. ‘She’s in the 
bedroom’said to me. I walked off into the bedroom and closed the door behind me ‘Hey where did you go earlier?asked me looking
up fro the bed ‘My flat’ I said sitting on the bed we both did not say anything after that just looked at each other. ‘I know you were carrying my 
babyand that you lost it’ I said looking at her ‘ Oh who told you’ she said ‘and I am glad he did as I could not see you saying 
anything; I looked at her ‘How would you know I would of told you’ she said getting angry. ‘ Did not seem like you was going to say 
anything’ I said ‘well your wrong I was going to tell you, it did not help that It was that night in the hotel when you forced m into sex’ she 
said ‘Hey I was sorry about that and you knew that’ I said getting angry ‘Oh yeah you were really sorry about that; she said ‘ Hey I was sorry 
and I was a idiot in doing what I done’ I looked at her

‘It don’t matter now what’s done is done’said ‘It does matter what if you were still carrying my baby would you tell me about it I 
don’t think you would your too busy wrapped up in your own world’ I sort of shouted.

‘Me wrapped up in my own world, take a look at yourselfyou’re the one wrapped up in your own world’ she shouted back at me. I grabbed 
her by the shoulders I was gonna say something but gave up and let go of her and walked out the bedroom slamming the door behind me 
then doing the same with the front door and went back to my flat. I lay on my bed with thoughts running threw my head then there was 
a knock at the door. I went and opened it and foundstanding there. She slapped me hard around the face and then walked off. I went 
back to lying on my bed I put my hand on my face wherehad slapped me it really hurt now. I got up and went to the bathroom and 
looked in the mirror to see my face red I put something cold on my face to help, which sort of helped and went to bed.

I woke up early the next morning as I had a radio interview that morning. I got some clothes together and went in the bathroom. My face 
was still red but I could not do anything about it.

I went to the interview with half my face red. I suppose I’m glad it was not a TV interview where everyone could see my face. The interview 
went well except the part where he did ask me why my face was red. I told them a girl had hit me and that was all I wanted to say about the 
matter. After the interview I went back to my flat to findsitting on the floor outside my door. ‘Hey’ she said as she got up off the 
floor ‘Hey’ I said as I opened my door to let us both in and closed it after us both then I walked off into the kitchen.

‘I heard the radio interview this morning you did not need to say a girl hit you’said to me ‘Well what was I gonna say I walked into a 
door and then look even more stupid’ I looked at her ‘No but you could of said something else’ she said to me ‘well I did not want to lie; I 
said walking past her and sitting on the sofa. ‘knows you’re here’ I asked her ‘Yes I don’t need babysitting by him’ she said sitting on the 
sofa facing me. ‘You sure about that’ I said to her ‘Fine you know what if your gonna be childish with me I wont bother’ she said getting up 
and walking past me and down the hall. wait’ I stood up shouting. She stopped walking and turned around. 

‘I’m sorry’ I walked over to her ‘I did not mean to sound childish’ I looked at her

‘Thanks I’m sorry to for saying you were childish’ she said kissing me on the lips I kissed her backed then pulled off.  She looked at me then 
took my hand ‘ Come on let’s sort you out’ she said taking me into the bathroom and making me sit on the edge of the bath. She started 
running the cold water and put my flannel under it. She turned the tap off and then placed the flannel on my face were it was still red. I 
flinted abit when she put it on my face as it was cold and my face still hurt abit.

I put my arms aroundwaist and pulled her close to me. My mind was starting to wonder on things that had happened recently. My 
hands moved aroundback then I moved one of my hands onto her stomach. I was having images of her carrying my baby and her 
belly growing as the baby grew then I remember what had happened. I pulled offquick and got up and walked out the bathroom into 
my room and lay onto the bed. I could hearcalling out my name as she came after me. I was upset and hurt by what had happened. 
‘’said as she sat next to me on the bed ‘what’s the matter? She looked at me ‘Nothing’ I said to her ‘There has to be something 
wrong you don’t walk out the bath room like you did’ she said ‘Ok I was lying I was having images of you carrying my baby then your belly 
growing as the baby grew inside you which was a happy thought then I remember what happened when you lost the baby recently and how 
you did not say anything to me It made me upset and hurt’ I said looking at her.

‘I’m sorry I hurt you but I did not know what to do or how to tell you. That had never happened to me before. I mean we can try again if 
you like’ she said looking at me. I looked up at the ceiling ‘ I think maybe we should just be friends’ I said to her ‘Friends? She said looking 
at me ‘After all we have been through you want to just be friends’ she said ‘Yes please close friends’ I said sitting up and looking at her. She 
looked back at me it took her abit of time before she answered ‘ Sure if that’s what you want’ she said to me ‘It’s what I want’ I said to her 
‘ok’ she nodded ‘Thanks babe’ I said to her as I kissed her on the lips and she kissed me back. I kissed her more and pulled her down onto me 
onto the bed. She pulled up from me ‘ I don’t think we should well you know if we are just going to be friends’ she looked at me. In my 
mind I knew she was right but there was something else in my mind telling me to go for it. I looked back at her ‘ yeah your right’ I said 
‘Good; she smiled back at me.

That was the final sign and my body just pulled her back down and we started kissing again. 
We started kissing each other more and more. We then started taking each other’s clothes off as we kept on kissing. pulled up off me 
breathing fast ‘ I thought’ she started to say then had to catch her breath ‘thought what?’ I looked at her breathing fast sitting up abit ‘nothing’ she 
said pushing me back down kissing me.
