Fate Chapter 1 *** *** I sat on the window seat crying and staring out into the street below, I had my hands over my ears and my mp3 turned up as high as it would go trying to block outshouting and banging on my door. ********************** It had all started when I had come back from a business trip in Paris, I had got the earlier train home so that I could surpriseonly to find him in bed with one of my best friends. I had the locks changed and have been trying to get on with my life butkept on coming round in a drunken state telling me he wasn�t sorry for what he did and he would get me, like I had done something wrong. ********************** I heard him shouting with someone else but I didn�t have the strength to look so I sat there and the noise eventually died down and I saw stumble out onto the street and disappear, my best m8said I should phone the police but what use would it do, he had so many mates that were even scarier then him, I just left it and prayed it would stop. I waited for a bit staring out the window and when I felt a bit safer I got up. �maybe he will get tired and leave me alone� I thought to myself switching off the light and going to bed. *** *** �What was that about!� I said to my mateas we went back into our new flat. �I know we�ve only been here 5 minutes and our old flat doesn�t seem so bad after all� �Yeah I know what you mean�but hopefully that guy wont come back for a while- what do you think he was shouting about or who too?� I askedcuriously �Don�t know mate I�m too tired to think lets just go to bed!� �Yeah okay night� I said shutting my door, getting undressed and laying on my bed in my boxers, I don�t know if it was just me being nosey but I really wanted to no what was happening next door�. *** *** �Yeah so I don�t know who made him leave because the apartment next door is empty�� I said to my m8sand �Maybe it was the police�said as we sat on the bar in the club we worked at. �Nah it can�t have been, you said no one came out after him that you know of�said. �Yeah�maybe I imagined it I�m sure I heard someone else and he normally doesn�t leave so soon�� I said �Maybe he�s getting bored� �Hopefully! There�s nothing I would like more than him out my life� I said serving a customer �Ohhh I can think of one thing�said laughing �What?� I said curiously �singing this to you!� she said turning up the radio. �ahhh I love this song!� I said signing along to blues new song �� and dancing withand. *************************************************************** *** *** I didn�t get home till about 1 am after working a full shift I knewwouldn�t be there because he knows it�s the night I�m working and im always getting home at funny times. I got out the lift and walked to my flat to find my door ajar, I slowly crept in and turned on the light the place was trashed and it looked like red paint had been thrown all over my things. I looked to the wall and saw writing saying �you wont get away with letting me go bitch� I couldn�t move for a few seconds and when I came to my senses I turned on my heel and ran out the apartment unsure of where I was going I ran towards the lift and smacked into someone. �AHHH� I screamed. �What the hell!� someone shouted grabbing onto me. �Get off me� I screamed struggling, it was too dark to see who it was. Suddenly the door of the empty apartment opened and someone stepped out. �hey hey what�s going on� someone said. I looked up and froze on the spot �I looked at the guy then to the guy who was holding onto me� �omg �your���...� **************************************************************** *** *** �Shall we wake her?� I asked �Nah leave her m8 she hit the floor pretty hard!� he laughed quietly �She�s beautiful isn�t she�like an angel� I said smiling at her laying with her eyes closed on our sofa. �Oh c�mondon�t tell me you like her! You could hardly say you too had a meaningful conversation�laughed shaking his head. �No! I just said she was beautiful- which she is!�- I began to protest but the girl suddenly began to stir�.
