Clocks The girl was watchin the clock directly. It felt as though the minutes turned into hours. It was so boring to wait! Felt as though her destiny will be definied when it was 7. She was able to contact the guy she'd been fancyin and the guy, finally, invited her for a dinner. She couldn't forget his saying 'I'll pick you up at 7' smiling. She got up very very early and started to get ready for the night. She wanted everything to be perfect. When it was 3pm, she was already ready! She had been waiting for the guy since then. ...And when it was eventually 7, the doorbell rang. She opened the door in advance, he was standin there! They both had butterflies in their stomaches. 'Welcome,' she said. Was it really her voice? It was such under control! 'Thank you. Well, then, shall we go?' 'Dont you drink something?' 'No, thanks.' They went out. His car was there. He opened the door for her. He was so polite that she could hardly keep herself from hugging him. The traffic was OK. The guy focused on driving and the song playin on the radio was very romantic that it drove her nuts. She was sometimes looking thru the window of the car and sometimes watching the profile of the guy. Finally they came to the restaurant where they had booked a table. This time, the guy held the chair for the girl and she thanked with a sweet smile. She was dying for the guy! But she was so shy and was very afraid of love without being loved. She was very sick and tired of platonic loves. This time, she'd either love or close her heart forever. The guy was so relax and easy-going. Also, he was so cultural. They talked bout everything. His jokes were enough for the girl to laugh madly. Or she was so love-drunk that she couldnt understand the jokes werent that good. The night went so right that she could hardly keep herself from crying when it was time to leave. She didnt want to get in his car and be back to home. She only wanted to be in that car for the times that they'd spend together to start. But now... But then, suddenly, she felt his hands covering her face. She looked in his eyes but he only smiled and then said "come" , whispering. They got in the car. She was both happy and sad. She was lookin outta the window but saw nothing. At that moment, everything felt empty! There were a lotta questions in her mind but then all of a sudden, the car stopped. She looked around. They were on top of a hill with a city view. And the city lights were shining brightly in the dark. She looked at the guy again. This time, there was no need to ask a question. There was also no need for the guy to talk. Felt like they understood each other with a miracle. It was so clear from their glances that they loved each other with all their hearts. Then, she turned her head due to her being shy. And the guy turn the radio on again.. It was the same song. "Somewhere we'll sit parked in my car Minutes turn into hours We'll watch the bright lights of the city Just you and me... Dreaming.." She looked at the guy again and he kissed her just like he was thirsty for ages. The End
