Against All Odds
Part 4

Whose lips were on my lips?? I think they were Dunk's. I really lost my feelings as he kissed me -even 
i couldnt understand what happened!! He drove me to him, opened the gate for me, then he pushed 
me to the wall politely, had his arms around me and we started kissing!! Godness!! It's far better than 
my dreams!!! I didnt wanna stop no way!! 

But every beautiful thing has an end.. We stopped. He looked into my eyes st8ly. I smiled. He was just 
lookin at me again -without doin anythin... I started worryin. Did anythin go bad? 
But then he gave a big smile to me so sincerely. 
'Woow! It was much better than i had expected in my dreams.' 
Gosh!! These were almost the same description as my words!! I just smiled again. You kno, during all 
nite, i couldnt trust myself but now, i had a very big confident in me.. So, i held his hands.. He said 
'We're standin on your garden. Anyone can see us.' 
'I dont care' I whispered. 
'To be honest, I dont care, either.' 
We started laughin uncontrolly. 
'Come, let's go inside.' 
I entered my house and he followed me.. He was checkin around. 'Super house!' he said. I smiled again! 
(Btw, I realised I was always smiling!! Probably i looked like an idiot but i couldnt help myself but laughin.) 
'Sit and help yourself.. Feel like it's your own home.' 
'Maybe it'll be one day.' 
I looked at him in amazement, he winked and said 'only a possibilty' so innocently. I was really puzzled 
but it sounded good that Dunk might live wiv me. 
'Would you like smth to drink?' 
'Hmm.. No.' 
'Anythin to eat?' 
'No.' 
'Why?' I was puzzled again. 
'Just sit next to me and let's talk.' 
'OK.' This guy was keepin on makin me puzzled. I went towards him and sat next to him. He started 
playin wiv my hair. He was gettin closer to me.. I was anxious a bit. Everything was buildin up so quickly 
that i cant hinder. 
'Look, u wanted to talk to me, so i think u have smth to say?' 
'Yea, I have but i cant keep myself from lookin at you.' 
I blushed..........................  
'Then go on..' 
'Go on lookin at you?' 
'Ahh, no!! Tell me what u wanna say.' 
'Ermm. OK.' I could clearly see that he turned into a serious man suddenly. I thought that what he was 
gonna say was really important. 
'When i saw you -i mean i alway see you on papers- when i saw you face2face.... Something different 
happened to me.. Somethin in your eyes..' 
He was havin difficulty in talkin but i was very excited, as well. 
Beep beep... Beep Beep.. 
GOSH!!!!!!!!! BAD TIME!!!!! 
I've received a SMS on my mobile and seemed to ignore it but Dunk said to me in a disappointed voice 
'Dont u check your message?' 
The voiced inside said 'no' of course but i said 'Ok.' I took the phone and started reading. 
'Hun, have bad things for you. im Marjolein. Kelly had an traffic accident tonight. Can u plz come to 
the hospital?' 

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE ON THIS 
NIGHT!! BUT KELLY WAS MY BEST FRIEND -MORE THAN A MANAGER!! HER INJURIES MIGHT 
BE SERIOUS. 

'Charlotte, is everythin ok?' 
'No Dunk. My manager, my friend.. Kelly..' I burst into tears. Dunk came and hugged me, said 'What 
happened to her?' I couldnt even speak. I pushed Dunk and got outta the house, turned to him and 
shouted 'Can you plz stay here?' 
He was in shocked, too, just like me but nodded and said 'OK.' 

A very long night was bout to start... 

When i arrived the hospital, I saw that Marjolein was injured, too. But as I could see, her injuries werent 
that serious. I got closer to her and said whisperin 'Mayo?' 
She looked at me. 'Oh Charlotte!! How nice to see you -even in this stiuation. Look, Kelly's room 
number is 18. Please, visit her. She may be injured so badly. I dont know. Doctors dont let me see her.' 
'Ah, OK' i said but im sure i looked so upset. 
I got outta the room and started seekin for Kelly's room. When I finally found it, i realised that someone 
left the door open, so I looked interior without enterin. Kelly looked so bad. I was really upset to see her 
in this position. She was sleepin. There were a lotta bandages in her body. I took a deep breath and entered 
inside. 
Then i saw that i was mistaken. She wasnt sleepin.. She looked at me with a lotta pain in her eyes. I was 
about to cry.
