Nothing But Deceit
Chapter 10

My doorbell rang it was 7.30 on a Friday evening must be the girls I thought and went to answer it 
�Ready?�asked I nodded and followed her down the small path after shutting the door 
�andare meeting us there�said as we got into my car 
�So you not drinking tonight then?�asked 
�Nah I�m not really in the mood for alcohol if you know what I mean� I said smiling at her 
�Right cool� she replied switching on the radio 
�And this is Blue with Guilty� the DJ announced and it started playingturned it up slightly 
�I know how much you love listening tosing� she said I nodded as I rounded the corner and waited to go into the 
clubs car park 
�I�m Guilty� the song ended just as I parked up and switched the engine offand I entered the club and sawand
waiting at a table 
�I�ll get us some drinks yeah� I said to
�Thanks Vodka and Coke please�replied as she joinedandI sighed as I walked up to the bar 
�Vodka and Coke and a diet coke please� I asked the barmen who nodded and got the drinks I handed over the money and 
walked off 
�Here� I said tohanding her, her drink 
�Cheers� she replied 
�I�m not drinking tonight ok girls� I said to them 
�Why?�andasked at the same time 
�Because I�m driving� I replied and they just nodded 
�Lets dance� I shouted as �Get Down On It� started I got up and quickly went over to the dance floor dragging the girls 
with me we danced to that song and the next until it�d been a few hours and we were all pretty tired 
�Shall we go then?� I asked slipping my jacket back on the girls nodded before we headed out of the club and got into my car 
I droppedoff first as she was closest and thenand thenit was such a relief to be on my own again I mean I love 
them girls but I didn�t want them to know my secret I got home and rang my best mate in the whole worldalthough 
she didn�t live in England anymore she moved to America a few years ago but we were still great friends 
�Hello?� she answered 
�Heyit�s meI was wondering could I come and stay with you for a few weeks everything�s in a right mess and it�s 
not something I can tell you over the phone� 
�Ok Hun sure�agreed 
�Great I�ll get the first flight over� I replied and with that hung up after saying our goodbyes of course I ran up the stairs and 
packed a suitcase before ringing the airport and asking for there next flight to America luckily one was going the next 
morning and a seat had became vacant I booked it and sighed with relief maybe this would help me sort out what I was gonna 
do I wrote a note tobefore I went to sleep that night I had to be up and 4.00 am to catch the flight at 5.00 am. 
I woke the next morning at 4.00 am had a quick shower and changed into some practical clothes before ringing a taxi to take 
me to the airport� 

I sat back in the aeroplane chair and watched the world go by it looked so small from all that way up and I could see Paris I 
whispered �Sorry baby� to myself as I looked down at it knowing both the men I love were in that country not knowing I was 
with child and the child could be one of theirs. The plane touched down hours later it seemed like minutes as I�d fallen asleep 
shortly after passing Paris. 

�Hun�said throwing her arms around me as she met me at the gate 
�Heya� I said hugging her back 
�I�ve missed you girl� she said as we walked over to collect my luggage 
�Yeah I�ve miss you loads to� I replied as we walked out of the airport and got into her car she drove us to her house and as soon 
as I�d unpacked and was sitting down in the kitchen having a cup of coffee and a chat 
�So why the sudden get away?�asked
