Chapter 21


~*~Few Days Later~*~

The house seemed so empty and quiet withoutwaking us up in the morning 
with her cries it felt so un-normal the police still hadn�t caught up with 
yet and it was getting harder by the day to just sit and watch the minutes 
go by waiting for some news the phone rang I got up to answer it but then I heard 
say hello I sat back down and stared at the clock 
��said coming in smiling 
�What�s happened?� I asked 
�They�ve gotwe have to go down to the police station to collect  
though� she said 
�Let�s go then� I said jumping up and going out to the carfollowed and I 
drove off to the police station� 
�Can I help you� the secretary said at the front desk 
�Yes I�m Mr.I have reason to believe you�ve got my daughter 
here?� I said 
�Oh yes Mr.sorry I didn�t recognise you I�ll just tell them your hear� she said 
and disappeared 
�Come this way please� an officer said Linzi and I followed him into a room where 
was 
�Sweetheart�said running up to her and picking her up tears filled her 
eyes as she hugged her 
�She seems ok no damage to her� the officer said 
�Ok thanks for all you�ve done can we leave now?� I asked 
�Sure take care� the officer said 
�You two� I replied asand I left with 
�I�m so happy to have you back darling� I said rubbing�s cheek 
she smiled at me 
�I�m so glad you�re alright�said strapping her in� 

�We�re back as a family now babe� I said so happy that we had her back I 
don�t know what I would have done if we hadn�t of gotten her back 
�I know and it�ll be your birthday soon won�t it babe�said putting her 
down on her baby gym 
�What day is it?� I asked 
�26th March�said so it was next week 
�We should go shopping soon then� I said to
�Yeah but I don�t have a clue what to buy babies are so hard to buy for� she said 
laughing slightly before putting a hand on her stomach and gasping 
�What is it?� I asked worried 
�Come here� she said 
�What?� I asked as she took my hands and placed them on her stomach
�Can you feel it?� she asked 
�Yeah I can the babies moving� I said smiling 
�That reminds me I need to rebook a scan that I couldn�t go to because of�said 
and left the room 
�What you want for you birthday then� I said picking her up and holding her up 
in the air like she was flying 
�You an aeroplane?� I asked she laughed she liked going around the room like 
she was an aeroplane 
�Can you say dada yet?� I asked bring her back down and sitting in the chair she 
didn�t say words very often and if she did it was mainly mama because she was 
witha lot more then me 
�Da� she said 
�Try again sweetheart� I said 
�Dada� she finally said aswalked back into the room 
�Did she finally say Dada?�asked smiling 
�Yeah she did� I said with a huge grin on my face 
�Oh I�ve got an appointment on Wednesday at 2.30 maybe we could go shopping after 
wards�said 
�Yeah that�ll be fine I don�t have to go to the studio or anything that day 
its my day off� I said still happy thathad said Dada�
