Chapter 18


and I got home later that evening pleased that both of our families had 
taken us getting married so well I knew they would have but I still worried about it 
�I�m just going to put her to bed� I said to Lee and climbed the stairs 
was asleep in my arms I carefully put her down and covered her up I watched her 
for a few minutes as I held a hand on my stomach I had the most greatest feeling in 
the world just stood there watching over my daughter and knowing another beautiful 
creation was growing inside of me. I went back downstairs and sat on the sofa 
next to 
�Everything alright babe?�asked 
�Yeah it is� I said cuddling up to him I must of fallen asleep on the sofa cos 
the next thing I knew it was morning and I was in our bed and I don�t remember 
getting here myselfhad already gotten up and I could smell something nice he 
was obviously cooking I got dressed and went downstairs 
�Morning babe�said smiling 
�Morning� I replied as he came over and kissed me 
�sill asleep?� I asked him 
�Well I never woke her and you haven�t�replied 
�I�m going to go check on her she�s not normally this quiet� I said and ran 
up the stairs�

had ran upstairs to check onwhen I heard her scream I ran 
as fast as I could up the stairs and into�s room 
�What�s the matter?� I asked walking closer to 
�She�s gone�replied barely able to speak I walked up to the cot our 
daughter had disappeared and a note had been left there 
�Want to see you daughter alive again follow my orders I�ll give some out soon 
take care� I read it out and Linzi broke down into tears I put my arms around her 
�We�ll get her back ok babe� I said trying to not cry I had to stay strong for 
both of us 
�It�s ok to cry�said obviously sensing I wanted to as tears slipped 
down my cheeks 
�I know� I said we stood there together not knowing what to do 
�We should call the police�said leaving the room I looked at the note again 
how could somebody hurt a little girl my little girl I followed down the
stairs she�d just got off of the phone with the police 
�They said they�d be round in a few minutes�told me I half nodded as 
the doorbell rang I answered it to see my mum andthere 
�what�s wrong?� Mum said hugging me I let them in they went through to the 
living roomwas just staring into space tears rolling down her cheeks 
�What is wrong with you two?�asked concerned as she sat on the sofa 
next to 
�I�ll go put the kettle on� I said leaving the roomlooked up at me through 
her eyes I could see she felt broken 
���started to say before I left the room�

�What about her?�asked 
�Someone snatched her during the night� I managed to say before breaking down 
into tearscame in with the cups of tea on a tray 
�Who ever it was left this note� he said passing it to his mum 
�Who could do such a thing?�asked 
�How can somebody hurt a little girl my niece�said shocked as it 
had just sunk in properly� 
The police had come and gone after doing some investigations and taking samples 
�I don�t know what to do without her� I cried as we led wide awake in bed 
that night 
�Or me babe we are going to get her back I�ll make it my main priority�said�
