I'll Be Home In Time For Christmas 22nd December -- �I miss you so much babe� I said toas we spoke on the phone she was over in Hong Kong doing some photo-shoot work she was a model and I met her at one of my gigs a few years ago she was walking past the backstage door as I came out after I'd had a shower and got changed she dropped something on the floor and I bent down to pick it up for her I handed it her she took it in her hands and looked up at me a magical smile on her face as she said �Thank you� I could not leave her without getting her number and giving her my number and since then we have been together �I miss you too� she said with a small sigh �When are you coming back?� I asked her �I think I�ll be in England in tomorrow sometime I�m getting the plane back this evening� she replied and I smiled feeling all warm inside that she was coming home in time for Christmas I'd hate it if we had to have to spend it apart because of her work �So you�ll be home for Christmas then� I smiled �I promise I�ll be home in time for Christmas� she said �Good I can not wait to se you� I replied �Honey I have to go my boss is calling me I�ll call you later ok�said �Ok babe talk to you later I love you� I said �I love you to bye� she said and hung up I slowly put the phone back on the receiver and went upstairs to finish wrapping some presents. -- I hung up the phone to Lee and went to answer the hotel room door to see my boss stood outside he smiled warmly as I smiled back �Ok darling lets take you to your last photo-shoot over here and then you�re free to get the plane back tonight� he said �Thanks Joel� I said as I closed my door and followed him out to the car where he drove along the long winding roads to the location I had to be at. Outside in a fancy resort next to a gorgeous pool I chuckled to myself a bit it was winter freezing cold over in England but nice and hot here and I was doing a bikini shoot ready for next summers season there was a lot of different styles and colours and the best part was I get to keep all of them I posed for the camera getting changed quickly into different bikinis. �Ok lets wrap it up� the photographer said with a satisfied smile on his face I smiled back at him and went to get change collecting my things I could not stop smiling as we drove back to the hotel �I can see you�re happy about going home� Joel laughed looking in his rear-view mirror �Yeah I can not wait to seeI�ve missed him so much� �Awww bless young love it�s so cute� Joel said �Hey this is the real deal I�m talking about� I protested and he laughed �And I bet your missing Kyle� I said and he nodded �And Marie� I added forgetting about his wife I had not seen her much but he sometimes had to bring Kyle his 3 year old son to work with him he was such a sweet little boy. �Well I suggest you get a few hours sleep before I take you to the airport� Joel said as we got into the lift to take us up to our floor �Good idea wake me in a bit� I said as the doors opened and we walked down the hall Joel went off into his room and I went into mine I led down on the bed I felt a bit sleepy but not much so it took a while for me to sleep properly as a dream filled my head and I just missed the ending of the dream as Joel was tapping on my bedroom door telling me to wake up �Ok I�m up� I called standing up off of my bed and picking up my ready packed suitcases I got out the hotel room and back into the car �I won�t be on the same plane as you I have to go and see the photographer from this morning and get the photos ready to be sent over along with all the outfits you have had to model while over here� he told me �Ok so I better buy myself a few magazines or something� I said as he pulled into the airport car park and turned off the engine �That would be a good idea� he said as we walked into the airport to check me in.. -A Few Hours Later- �Well your planes boarding now I�ll see you soon� Joel said kissing my cheek before he walked away I walked my way ready to board the plane. 23rd December -- I got up early the next morning taking the presents that I had wrapped the night before I put them underneath the treeand I had both had fun decorating before she went away I went into the kitchen turned on the radio and went to make myself a cup of tea and some breakfast I sang along to the Christmas song on the radio... �I�ll Be Home For Christmas� �And I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams I'm coming home, oh yes I'll be coming home I'll be coming home I'll be coming home� I sang as I picked up my cup to drink from it as the song ended and the 9 o�clock news started �An aeroplane flying to England from Hong Kong last night has reportedly crashed down after an engine failure it is said the modelwould have been on that plane it is not known whether she is alive or not� I dropped the cup in my hand it smashed on the floor the tea and crockery went everywhere frantic with worry I ran to get my phone to call her I dialled her number and waited for her to answer but it went to �Welcome to the 02 answer phone this phone is switched off� I held my breathe that�s impossible she�s got to be ok I thought trying again but I got the same answer I paced up and down the hall way and kept on trying her phone I sighed deeply with worry as I entered the lounge looking up at the portrait of us both above the mantle piece we�d had that taken after we had been going out for a year please be alright I thought looking at her, her smile and the gleaming of her eyes I'd miss that so much my phone rang breaking me from all thought I answered it quickly. �� I said hoping for it to be her �I take it you�ve heard then�voice came through the phone �Yeah and I�ve been trying and trying to ring her but her phones switched off� I said �I know�s been trying to she�s in tears over here�said and I sniffed I was close to tears too. But something inside me kept refusing to let the tears fall down my cheeks �I�m sure she�s fine mate�said trying to be reassuring �I hope so I couldn�t bear to loose her� I said as a tear finally left my eye and fell down my cheek I wiped it away with the back of my hand �I know that she�s you�re everything�replied �She is and I definitely need her here for Christmas Eve� I said �I know are you still going to carry on arranging everything?� asked �Yes I can�t just stop you never know she could turn up and if I do not carry on with my plan then it would ruin her biggest and best present this year� I said �Do you need any help with it?�asked �No its ok I�ve got it all under control� I said �Thanks anyway� I added �Its ok mate I really hope she gets home in time and that she is fine though I am sure she is�said �Thanks mate anyway I best get off and see to everything� I said �Ok speak soon� �Bye� I said and hung up I went back upstairs to change into my clothes as I was only in my boxers I grabbed my jacket off of the end of the banister and stuffed my wallet and keys into my pocket I walked out down to my car and got in driving off to arrange the surprise for my girl I had to meet a few people to get it all sorted �Everything is going according to plan Mr.� they all said to me which was a relief I�m glad something was going alright I went to visit the last of who I had to that day �So the special message has been made� I asked �Yes and its ready to go on the 24th at around�� he paused �9.30� I said �That�s right I�ll see that is it�s done� he replied �Thank you so much� I said and walked off back to my car I drove home it had got a bit late by the time I'd finished all my errands today I got into the house had something to eat and went off to have a shower I switched on the shower radio it would have been time for the news I'd missed part of the report about the aeroplane crash but not the end and most important bit �Rescue teams are searching for people who were on the plane it seems that they have not yet found model� Hearing that part made my heart leap in a painful fashion they hadn�t even found her to know if she was alive or dead she can not be dead though I'd be lost without her. I slowly climbed into the bed that I should be sharing with right now I led on my side of the bed and took her pillow in my arms the sweet sent of her still lingered over it I'd miss the scent of her too she smelt so good I'd miss having her in my arms at night protecting her from anything that may harm her I lay awake for ages tossing and turning I eventually fell asleep but jolted awake a few hours later tears streaming down my face my body was shaking and sweating my breathe became heavier I tried to steady it was I sat up in bed I turned on the lamp on the bedside table and wiped my eyes dry with a tissue I took from the tissue box beside the lamp. I then picked up the picture frame another one ofand I we had loads of photos together memories are worth holding on toused to always say to me this one was taken by when myself,andwent on a picnic in the summer that was a fun day I thought as I stroked the picture tracing the outline ofwith my index finger trying to forget the awful dream I'd just had I'd seen the plane crash and then I sawtwisted in a weird and painful position blood pouring down her face and out of a few cuts she could not move her legs seemed to be trapped underneath something her lips turned a shade of blue and she�d gone to a place where only angels lived I had to get more sleep though I thought settling myself down tomorrow was the big surprise if fate really exist then she�ll be here on time. 24th December � Christmas Eve I woke up late the next morning after struggling to sleep I sighed as I looked at the empty space beside me she had not come home while I was asleep and crept into bed like she had done before when she got home late or had a delayed flight I got up slowly and went to take another shower as I'd remembered I'd woken up sweating last night I let the warm water run down my body hoping and wishing this was all a dream that was asleep still in our room but she that was not true I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist I go a fresh sheet and changed the bed sheet putting it in the laundry basket everything had to be perfect tonight I thought as I dressed myself and left the house to do the finishing touches to my surprise it only took me 20 minutes as I rushed back home to iron my suit I pulled up the drive way and just as I did I saw in the wing mirror of my car a taxi pulled up near the house someone stepped out and then the taxi driver did I decided not to be nosey as I had things to do I got out of my own car and locked the door I looked down the drive and saw a womanly figure at the bottom of it just about to open the gate I wondered who it was then I saw her place two suitcases and a bag just inside the drive my heart started to beat faster with delight I waited for her to get in the gate before running as fast as I could scooping her up into my arms and spinning her around she giggled �Someone�s pleased to see me�said �Of course I am I thought you were dead� I said helping her with her suitcases into the house �You thought I was dead� she asked �Yes I heard the plane you were on crashed� I told her �Oh that well let me get my coat off and get a warm drink and I�ll tell you about it� she said slipping her pink coat of and unwrapping her white scarf from around her neck I went into the kitchen and made her a cup of hot chocolate I set it down on the kitchen table as she walked in and sat down �Now tell me all about it babe� I said taking her hand in mine �Well I was heading towards the plane to board it when I had this terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach and something was telling me not to get on that plain for some reason I wanted to ignore this feeling but then I�ve flown many times before and never had this feeling so I decided to go with it and got a taxi back to the hotel I was staying at before luckily my room hadn�t been checked out yet as Joel wasn�t leaving until the day after me and then I was able to get a flight really early this morning� she said and I smiled �I�m so glad you went with that feeling babe� I said and kissed her �And that your home in perfect timing now go and get yourself ready I�ve made dinner reservations tonight� I said and she smiled �Awww you had faith that I'd be back� she smiled and kissed me one more time before going upstairs. -- I went upstairs and had a quick shower it was so good to be home I thought as I wrapped a towel around me and went into the bedroom �what time are we leaving� I called down the stairs to him �About 7� he called back up from the bottom of the stairs �Ok� I said blowing him a kiss and going back into our room I dried my hair and straightened it scraping it back off of my face as I applied my make-up �Babe it�s almost seven�said coming into the room with a suit on I wolf whistled at him and he laughed �I�ve just got to put my dress and shoes on and I�ll be with you� I said to him �Ok I�ll go warm up the car� he said and went downstairs again I changed and soon met with him in the car as he hung up the phone �Who was that?� I asked doing my seatbelt up �I just rang him to tell him that you were safe and with me�told me I smiled and leant forward to turn the radio on singing alongstopped the car a while later �We can walk from here� he said taking his keys out of the ignition and opening the car door he came around to my side and opened my door taking my hand and helping me out he kept grip of my hand gently as he locked the car and led me away �Where are we going?� I asked �Its not far from here�said looking at his watch �In fact we�re gonna be a bit early� he said looking around �Hey you ever been on the London Eye� he asked �No I�ve never had the time always wanted to go on it though to see the sites� I replied �Well what are you waiting for we can go now before dinner� said pulling me towards it �Two please�said to the man behind the booth �Make this really special close your eyes�said to me I looked at him strangely �Trust me�said and I closed my eyes he helped me into the capsule and sat me down on a seat �Can I open them yet?� I askedas I heard the door being closed �Yes�replied and I slowly opened my eyes I gasped as my mouth fell open I was sat at a table a beautiful dinner was spread out and candles flickered in the middle of the table sat opposite me �Surprise� he smile �You sneaky boy� I said and we laughed �Like it though?� he asked �I love it� I said tucking into the dinner we chatted between ourselves as the big wheel turned �Well soon be at the top for a while babe�said standing up and taking me by the hand I stood up he stood me in front of him placing his arms around my waist from behind and resting his chin on my shoulder �Oh it�s beautiful� I said taking in the view of thousands of lights in the darkness of London we reached the top eventually and the wheel stopped I looked ata bit worried �Don�t worry its supposed to do that� he reassured me I smiled at him and kissed him breaking away from him as a bang was heard I looked out and saw a rainbow of colours fill the sky �Is there always fire works when this stops here at night?� I asked �Only when I kiss you�said �Awww� I replied and we stayed in silence watching the fireworks for a bit I feltpull away from me and heard the plates being gathered I guessed he was just cleaning up allowing me to watch the fireworks and view another one went up letting of a huge bang but instead of a star of colour a message whizzed across the sky in red �Will You Marry Me� it spelt out �Awww that�s so sweet I hope the girl a certain guy is asking says yes cos that is the sweetest thing ever don�t you think� I said turning around my mouth fell open as I saw him on one knee holding out an open box with a pink diamond ring inside �Well I can only say I hope she says yes to�said and a huge smile spread across my face I couldn�t say anything I was too speechless �So will you?�prompted �I will marry you� I said as he stood up quickly slipping the ring on my finger and kissing me as the wheel started to turn again to let us down we kissed all the way down to the bottom �You don�t know how happy I am that you�ve accepted my proposal� said as we walked to his car �You don�t know how happy I am that you asked me� I replied my dream was coming true I was going to marry the man I loved I thought as we arrived back home Lee picked my up in his arms and took me upstairs opening the bedroom door I saw the bedroom was covered in roses petals and candles �When did you do this� I asked him �came and did it for me� he replied �You went to so much trouble to do all this for meI'd of still have said yes to you if you asked me over an ordinary dinner that I cooked at home for us� I said �I know babe but I wanted this to be really, really special you deserve it� he said kissing me some more and laying me down on the bed� 25th December � Christmas Day I woke up the next morning and looked at the ring on my finger I couldn�t believe last night was simply magical I couldn�t ask for a better Christmas present then to haveI thought as he stirred awake and looked at me �Merry Christmas baby� he smiled �Merry Christmas� I replied �So shall we go see what Santa brought you last night�said and I giggled �No cos Santa seems to have left what I wanted in my bed already� I said and kissed �All I want for Christmas is you too babe�replied �And another thing can we get married
