'in my next life, i want to be an anime bishounen'

i have a 'fruits basket' anime wallpaper up on my desktop at the moment. kyo, yuki and tooru are featured. my sister and i have found over time that we can compare ourselves to different anime characters. silly sounding? maybe. but, there's something interesting in learning that your personality fits that of, say, heero from 'gundam wing' or yuki from 'fruits baskets' as mine does at times. my sister, christine, is the female version of both duo and kyo from those two anime.

mm... bishounen... ahem, let's not get off track [a knowing grin towards all my fellow fangirls].

i find i'm attracted to characters very similar to myself. not sure why when they say 'opposites attract.' comparing oneself to a ficticious animated character is a tad strange, but when psycho-analyzing myself [which i do often], it's always enlightening in some way when i think of how an anime character might say or react  in the same situtation. in a psychological sense, while attributing character traits to your own will not change anything about you in any way, i feel it's a unique way of looking at yourself; sort of from a cock-eyed mirror. but, in the end, it is a bit disturbing to be compared to a suicidal-spandex-wearing-stoic-soldier hottie when you actually get down to pondering it.
