| > 14 february 2003 '[un]happy valentine' so, valentine's has come and gone. honestly, it's just another day [of course i'm not in the least pissed that i'm alone this evening]. i say it's the day when men go 'oh crap! i have to get my girlfriend a dozen roses or she'll stop sleeping with me!' [evil laugh] the sad thing is, many women do threaten their boyfriends with certain death [or something thereof, see above] if they don't have a vase of flowers at eight 'o clock sharp valentine morning. how annoying. men can be pretty stupid a majority of the time, but jeez, give the poor things a break. today is when girls of all ages get to show off their balloons / flowers / gifts with the intention of subtley trying to beat out the other. 'oh, your [single] tulip is so sweet. these two dozen roses are a bit heavy, i have to say. i'll just have to lug these babies around then, huh?' grr >_< i'm still waiting for prince charming to fall into my lap [and hopefully not in a drunken stupor]. on that cheerful note, happy valentine's to you all! |
