Here is the cloth doll pattern...
I used some nude colored knit to make
the bodies(a pair of
Love Pat panties the texture was perfect
for the skin and tricot is too shiny)
I used cotton balls to stuff with..1
for the head, 1 for the arms-pulled to
stretch to make it long, 2 for each leg-again
pulled out longwise, and 3 or 4
for the body.
Make 1/8 inch seams and leave open
where indicated. Attach the arms and
legs at the spot indicated and sew thru
the body to the other side, back and
forth to secure, do the same with the
arms. Put the arms on with them
pointing up at a angle and they will stay
put in the position in the picture.
The seam in the head goes from side to
side not back to front, then the hair
covers it.
Also included are patterns for the clothes.
I did not glue any of the clothing, so
it can be changed...
but I did sew the dress back and the
pants and shirt front
together after I put them on. The
petticoat is made from some narrow lace
and the panties from the fabric that
the dolls are made from....the shoes are
black felt....
