| In Memory of Dad, Dustin George Favorite September 22, 1923-September 2, 2005 This picture was taken 4th of July 2003 on our favorite past times of celebrate of Gathering Clan the Favorite's... A Wanderer's Prayer by RHB Wanting nothing, how shall I be dismayed? Grieving for no thing lost or unattained, Why would I choke on the sharp bones of regret? I am a guest in this house, thoughful of my manners, Mindful of my privilleges and so filled with gratitude upon my lips. Were I to die just as I am, surrounded so with beauty, My soul, returning to its Source, open wide And revealing the map of my journey, Would show forth, undiminished, beauty only, only beauty. And so, Beloved, I have written this poem for You. |
