The Fairmont East High School Class of 79 held our 30 year reunion on July 25, 2009 at the Presedential Banquet Center in Kettering. We had a pretty good turn-out of about 140 people. Open bar, food, KC playing music, and a lot of memories... just a great time. The reunion was at the former site of the legendary "Captain Kidd Drive-in". For those of you that were there, it was great seeing you. And for those that couldn't make it, sorry you missed a great party and we hope to see you next time. The night before everyone met at a bar over by Kettering pool. That ended up being a really good idea. A lot of people showed up. If anyone is interested in organizing something like that more often (like once a year) for the people close enough to get there, you can post it on the message board. The plan is to keep our free message board open so people have a common place to post messages or look for old friends. On our Message Board, you and your Fairmont East 1979 Classmates can also post your own contact information, events in Kettering and Dayton area, notes to old friends, etc. If you have photos from reuinions or parties, last day of school, or other things you want to share, this is a free oportunity to reach out to your fellow falcons.
