Looking at her friend Beth replied, "Yes, it will kill me."

You just don’t know, Beth thought to herself.

"But, Beth!! I’ve got front row tickets and meet and greet passes!!" Cassie whined. "You’ve gotta come with me! My parents won’t let me go alone that’s why they got me two of each."

"Take Erin then," Beth replied.

"She’s already going!!" Cassie groaned.

Giving Cassie her ‘stop whining’ look Beth asked, "With who?"

"Aime."

"Aime’s going?" Beth questioned looking up from her book again.

"Yes! Even Aime’s going and she’s had something against *NSYNC since you two went and saw them during the summer."

"Fine," Beth said sighing.

"You’ll go with me??" Exclaimed Cassie. "Thank you!! Thank you!!"

Glaring at Aime as they pulled up in front of Cassie’s house two months later, Beth said, "This is all your fault."

"My fault? No one said you had to go to the concert," Aime replied, making a face at Beth.

"Well if you hadn’t been going Erin and Cassie could’ve just gone together."

"Chris sent me tickets, I couldn’t really be like ‘No. I’m not going just because I might kill a member or two of your band.’ Chris and I are too good of friends for me to do that."

"There’s no might about. I will kill Justin if he talks to me like nothing happened."

"According to Chris they won’t even act like they know who we are," Aime said as Cassie and Erin came running out of Cassie house.

"We’re going to see *NSYNC!!" Erin yelled as they climbed in the car.

"You scream like that again during this ride you’re not going to because I’m gonna leave your ass on the side of the road," Beth said looking at them in the rearview mirror. "And if you scream like that when you’re talking to *NSYNC you’ll walk home, cause I ain’t ridin’ with no teenybopper."

"We’ll be on our best manners! Promise!" Cassie promised, checking her hair out in her compact.

"I wonder if Lance’ll give me a hug," Erin said looking at her hair.

"Maybe I can get Joey to give me a kiss!!" exclaimed Cassie excited by the thought.

"Maybe Hoey can go to jail for kissing a 16 year-old girl," Aime said mocking them.

"Cassie, Erin, do not faint, understand me?" Beth warned to them as they stood in line to get autographs. "Do not ask Lance or Joey to kiss or hug you or invite them home with you."

"Yah! I’ve already called the other seat in the car for Chris," Aime said giving Chris a smile as she stepped in front of him. "Oopies! I said that out loud! How teeny-bopperish of me!" she said mockingly.

"What’s your name, little girl?" Chris asked smiling at her.

"Aime Elizabeth Kirkpatrick-Chasez-Fatone," she replied smiling.

"What you aren’t married to Justin or Lance?" Joey asked from his seat next to Chris.

"No Beth and I think Lance and Justin are really gay and they aren’t that great lookin’ either!" she answered giving Justin and Lance smiles as they shot her dirty looks. "Not like you three!"

"I can’t believe you said!!" exclaimed Erin after they finished getting autographs from the rest of *NSYNC. "I’m sure they could totally hear you calling them gay!"

"They did hear her! Didn’t you see the looks they gave us as they signed our posters?" Beth asked smiling.

The four walked around a little while longer, Beth and Aime being started at as the rumor of what Aime said passed through the large groups of teenyboppers. For each dirty look they got Aime’s and Beth’s smiles just widen. At one point Beth and Aime lost Erin and Cassie. Shrugging they continued walking around the arena.

"I’m sorry! I need to pay more atten-" Beth started as she bumped into some, then quit when she realized who it was. "Come on, Aime. We better get away before someone thinks we’re dating them. God forbid someone think these two are taken," she said to Aime when she realized it was Justin and Lance standing in front of them.

"For real! I mean couldn’t have their fans thinking they’re actually guys that have girls and some day might get married to someone besides them," Aime agreed walking off.

Touching Beth’s arm, Justin said, "Beth, please just let me explain something to you," as Lance went after Aime.

Looking him in the eyes, Beth shook her head and walked in the opposite way that Aime had gone.

"Hello, Tulsa!" Justin yelled into his microphone as he and the other members of *NSYNC walked onto the stage. When the screaming calmed down Justin continued, "Before we start the show out tonight I would like to tell a very special girl in the audience that I’m sorry for what I did to you. You were right, Beth, I was a jerk."

Beth exchanged a look with Aime, then mouthed, ‘What’s going on?’

Aime shrugged as Justin began to talk center stage almost directly in front of their seats.

"Our first song tonight is ‘I Want You Back’ because Beth, I want you back," Justin said catching Beth’s eye.

As Lance began to speak Justin cut him off saying, "Dude get your own song to sing in Aime’s honor. This one’s for Beth in hopes that she’ll accept my apologizes."
