My name is Lynn Kershaw-Smith.

That's me pictured at left...the year was 1964.
My husband, David Smith, and I married in 1992 and lived in Toronto (David's hometown) until 2000. We moved a few times since then, and in early 2003 ended up in Sarnia (my hometown). Family obligations (and a house that is not yet fully renovated) keep us here.
We are joined by our two dogs (Kira the Westie, Morag the Cairn) and three cats (Vinnie the medium haired tabby, Squeakers the short haired tabby, and the newest addition Caliana - the grey and white little princess).
The two-legged children live elsewhere. Diane, David's daughter from a previous marriage, and her sons Clayton and Julian, live northwest of Toronto with Diane's SO Roland. David's son Daniel recently moved to British Columbia.
David and I are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). We joined because David wanted to fight medieval style. David, known in the SCA as David de Lacey, and I joined the Shire of the March of St. Martin, the local Sarnia Ontario Canada group, in the summer of 2005. In the SCA I am known as Anne Fairamay.

In addition to my interest in all things medieval, I enjoy writing and desktop publishing, sewing, and a variety of crafts.
