These are the new trophy miniatures for Blood Bowl. The Bloodbowl trophy itself is not new, it was first made in 1994, but the others were released in 2003.
The Blood Bowl trophy is one of my favourite miniatures. I have painted six or seven of them over the years. For several years the miniature was only available with a referee pack via MOUS. I have painted several for myself as score markers as well as painted them for others as score markers and as a trophy for FNBBL's Blood Bowl winner. It has been re-released with this set and is the smallest of the trophies. The paint scheme for this was to get it to look somewhat like the cover of the rule handbook.
The Chaos Cup is the largest of the trophies in this set. As it is considered to be an undesirable thing to have according to Blood Bowl fluff, I have painted it to look like weather beaten and rather dirty bone with dilapidated metal.
The Dungeon Bowl trophy thematically was the hardest to decide how to paint. I settled for a stone 'goblet' with various coloured jewels. btw- the spikes on the top of this are very sharp.
The Spike! trophy is supposed to come from a popular Blood Bowl magazine according to its background. As such I went with a gold, bright and shiny approach.
