| "Yume! Give me back my notebook!" You enter the clearing, listening to the voices of Desiree and the dragon Yume. Yume, a tall white dragon, stands holding Desiree's notebook over her head. Desiree jumps in vain up and down, desperately trying to grab the notebook out of Yume's claws. You stand and watch, surprised they haven't noticed you yet. "Yume! I have to make a dragon home! I can't make a dragon home without my notebook!!!!!!!!" "Come on, jump little Desiree, jump!" Yume puts the notebook even farther out of Desiree's reach. You sigh, watching the two make even greater fools of themselves. Desiree plops onto the ground, and says "I'm not moving until you give me my notebook back!" Yume replies, "Good!!" You hear Desiree vaguely whisper, "Geez, I'll never find out what Akumu and Ajax are up to now..." Keibi the eki comes over to you. "Well, it seems like Desiree is too busy to greet you for right now. Why don't you go visit the newest home?" "Sure, but what is living in the new home?" "We have an egg from Kalexie there. Just follow that trail to the Valley. Watch out for Kami and Skysong, though," Keibi finishes and flits onto a branch. He settles his wings, continuing his watch over the clearing. You follow the trail that Keibi had pointed out to you. The trail is old, very old, with small holes dotting the trail, small tufts of grass invading the dirt, and rocks strewn everywhere. You walk quietly down the trail, enjoying the soft sunshine that comes through the canopy. Eventaully you see mountains in the distance. Hm...Don't these mountains seem vaguely familiar? You hurry up to the opening between two of the mountains, and hurry down the side of the cliff. Within is a wide forest, stretching to both sides of the valley edge. You walk quietly through the forest, wondering where in the Valley the Kalexie egg was being kept. But as you wonder where to go, you hear a loud crashing to the left of you. Looking to your left, you see a green dragon charging at you. And before you can move, the green and gold dragon has you pinned down to the ground, his wings held at his side. But before the green dragon does anything bad to you, you hear a voice not too far off. "Skysong! How many times have I told you! Humans ARE NOT food!" Another dragon, this one purple, walks into view, her wings pressed against her body. You recognized her, she was Kami from RoseCaverns, the very first dragon to come to the Forest. The green dragon moves off of you, and sits with a look of sadness on his face. "But Kami, I'm hungry!" Skysong says, pouting. Kami turns to you, and says "I want to apoligize on the behalf of my mate." "Uh, don't worry... Could you tell me where the Kalexie egg is being kept?" "Just go further down the valley, you should eventually come to the egg's gaurdian. Bye Traveller. Come on Skysong, lets go find something to eat," Kami says. Skysong visibly brightens and nearly prances off with Kami in the lead. You shake you head, and hurry further down the valley. Eventually you find yourself at a large clearing, with a lake in the center. Not too far away from the lake is a cave, and laying outside the cave are two dragons, curled next to each other. They raise their heads up in greeting. You soon recognize the two. The silver dragon is Anya, Kami's daughter. The dark purple dragon with lightning wings being Rakurai, Anya's mate. "Hello you two! Do you know where I can find where the Kalexie egg is being kept?" Anya points her head further down the valley, and says "Just go further down, the egg is not too far away." You give your thanks to the two mates, and hurry further down the valley. Soon you reach a meadow, with a large stream running through part of it. You sigh, remembering who lives here. Emerald Wing and Willow. You can't count how many times the troublesome two have pushed you into the river. You sigh and hurry to the edge of the lake, keeping an eye out for the two. But it seems you are lucky today! Willow is sitting on a rock that hangs over the water edge, seemingly preoccupied with something. And Emerald Wing is playing happily in the water. You quietly sneak up to Willow, and push her roughly into the river below. Willow floats back to the edge of the river, laughing all the while. "Looks like you humans had finally leared!!" The elf climbs back up to the rock where you are standing. You look before you, and see a small nest, with an egg inside. "Is this the Kalexie egg?" "Yep, I thought I deserved I deserved some kind of horse creature. I mean Link HAS a horse... I deserve one too!!" She glares at who knows what, standing in an irritated stance. "What exactly is a Kalexie?" "The Kalexie is a unicorn, fromn Coyote Beautiful," the last two words seem to trail off, and you see that Willow is looking at something behind you. But before you can turn and look, you find yourself pushed into the river below, Emerald Wing and Willow laughing at you from above. *** You come by the next day, actually surviving once agin your trip through the valley. You find Willow and Emerald Wing fawning over their foal that is newly hatched.
