You tell Morgan that you would like to visit the Meadow. She nods her head and faces towards the mountains and waves her hand.
She waves her hand once more towards the mountains. Nothing happens, and she curses under her breath. You can not hear all of the words she speaks, but you get the idea of her having the trouble with some kind of spell. You stand there looking forward, patiently waiting. Eventually the trees ahead of her begin to shimmer and soon begin to dissapear. Soon you see a small path winding off further into the forest in the space where the trees and bushes had stood before. You look to Morgan and you see her whole face alight with glee. She jumps slightly and her face glows even more. "I did it! I actually completed the spell correctly!!" Morgan sighs and walks upon the trail that has magically appeared. You ask Morgan what she means by "correctly." "Well," Morgan begins, her eyes getting a bit distant, "I haven't always been able to use magic. A fairy that lives here has been teaching me what she knows. I am still very inexperienced, and I am so glad when my spells work correctly!! Come on, follow me!!" You step onto the path beside her, and you follow her towards her home. You follow Morgan to the edge of the forest. Looking out you find yourself at the edge of a meadow that stretches to the far horizon. The wind blows gently, rocking flowers and leaves back and forth. Flowers cover every square inch of the ground past the trees and the scent of sweet necter fills the air. "Follow me," Morgan says as she walks on the outskirts of the forest. She does not walk to far when she stops by a small tree. At the base of the tree is a small cavern in which her attention is focused. She brushes aside some plants and tells you to look within. A flurry of color and small wings comes out of the small hole in the tree. The little dragons fly about the two of you, stretching their wings in the warm sunshine. "These are Jeweling Fairy Dragonfly chrysillises. I watch over them here. The forest provides them cover from predators that might wish to harm them. Also, the flowers within the meadow will provide them with much to eat. A little bit farther north is a small stream with which these animals can play and drink from. Also, many of these trees bear fruit which they can also eat. The temperature stays pretty warm year round, but if it does become too cold, I will move them into warmer climates."
