| Keibi is perched on a low branch, awaiting your decision. Choosing a trail to follow is always hard... "Why don't you go visit Desiree? She is taking care of a Kitarii egg right now" "Sure. But what is a Kitarii?" You ask, confused. Must be a new animal type that has come to live in the Forest. "The Kitarii is a new creature down at the Market. Desiree has been ranting about it all day." You decide to follow the trail which Keibi points to, and visit Desiree for yourself. The trail is small, newly made, without the wear of time and footprints. But eventually the trail will widen and harden, and become like all the others that branch out through the Forest. Only Keibi, the Gaurdian of the Clearing, will be able to tell which way is which. You walk reflecting in the warm sunlight that spills down between the trees. You idly notice that a cloud is marring the wide blue expanse when you hear a rustle in the bushes that line the trail. You stop in your tracks, wanting to find out what the sound could be. But you have not long to wait, for Desiree walks onto the path, carrying a small egg in her arms. "This is our Kitarii egg, newly come. It is undetermined as of now, and I can't wait to see it hatch!!" |
