John was Fahrenheits bass player. He was also the bands baby, at a measly 24 years old...which makes our drummer, Wayne, legally old enough to be his dad! John has been playing bass guitar for 12 years and started playing in bands in his native Sheffield when he was 14 years old.
Musically, he prefers the rock/indie genre, although he prides himself on being able to play just about anything (or so he says!)
John uses a pretty basic setup on stage, consisting of his trusty battered Ibanez guitar, played through a Fender amp-rig.
Outside of the band, John is a keen rugby player and set his sites on being the first member of the British Olympic Beer-Guzzling Team...
Very sadly, we lost John as our Bass player at the end of April 2001, due to job commitments and he will be extremely difficult to replace. |
