| Born in London, Dave started playing piano at the age of 8 but spent his early gigging career playing rhythm guitar for a local band. However, he soon set up his own band "The Chosen", who won the Southern "Battle Of The Bands" and secured an EMI distribution deal for their only single "Sound Of The Dream". After this, he joined several other bands covering the south of England experimenting with different music styles including The Commitments (doesn't everybody?), Irish Rock, Pop and Indie. In Cyprus, before joining Fahrenheit, he played with the Vodka Sharks, and has the t-shirt. During his career he has supported many artists including Tony Hadley, Hazel O'Conner, Bad Manners, Marcella Detroit, Then Jericho and The Commitments! And now of course, with Fahrenheit supporting Showaddywaddy!! All round talented and great bloke! |
