An interesting information is that M14 was never made and supplied for public distribution. As for this particular model it is a final step in evolution of "lock, stock and barrel" style fo rifle. It's most prized characteristics are accuracy and range. It also has a extremely simple design and ease of reload which compensate for the lack of fire rate and size of clip.Also this gun was designed by John C. Garland for US military (but it is featured as a neutral rifle in the game). REVEREND's TAKE: When playing as a terrorist this is all i need (maybe a few proxy's too). M14 is amazingly accurate, and i mean amazingly. Of course it does has a few mminor problems which demand a time period of adjustment to it. Smale clip (20 rounds) and slow-ish fire rate make it a more demanding gun to master, but once you do you will fell atached to it, like it's a woman (well almost at least). One recomendation is to shot in finger measured bursts to maintain accuracy, and do not worry about gunning down the enemy. M14 packs one of the heavier punches in the game so what counts it to hit. Also shooting in burst will help you prolong the lasting of the clip and help you not to get stuck reloading in amiddle of fire fight. Recomended Use: Anywhere, anytime. I would not recomend it to newbies, but if you are planing to make it your gun than start getting adapted now. |
