| Well this is a SIG designed handung. It is currently in use by the world most elite fighting force and they are the US Navy Seals. Reason behind this is that 226 is considered to be the standard for all of todays handguns. It is by default 9mm caliber but it can be adjusted for .357 rounds and .40 also. It has exceptional accuracy, which is it most important feature. REVEREND's TAKE: In SOCOM this is the least used handgun i've noticed. It holds very true to its stats also. it is highly accurate, but also loud, has almost no range and it shoots damn slow. So it seems that there are more downs than ups with this gun. Biggest problem though is the fire rate. Just like every other weapon that has god awful fire rate, it feels like a crippled gun. Unfortunately unlike AR's there is no way to fix this by measuring your shoots, so you a pretty much screwed if you get stuck using the SIG 226. Recomended Use: unless you got some kind of emotional attachment to this gun, avoid it by all means. |
