OU vs. OSU Bedlam FootballRivalry

I'd like to talk about this so called rivalry in football. I mean 74-14-7 is hardly competitive. They can say it means a lot to in-state recruiting, but let's face it. With exception of a couple years in the 90's, OU has had it's pick of the litter so to speak of each year's incoming talent. If this is to be considered a rivalry OSU seriously needs to do some catching up on their side. Maybe we can wipe the first 50 years off the record, but then they'd still be down by 20. Some Cowboy fans would argue that they "Dominated" the series the past 10 years. I would like to point it out that OU is 5-4-1 against OSU in the 90's. Now I know that OSU prides itself on it's arithematic department, but that number points that the series was won by OU over 10 years. But then again, I guess 4 wins out of 10(40% winning percentage) is dominant compared to their 14 wins out of 95 games(14.7 winning percentage).During their highest times  on the football field (80's) they were an astounding 0-10 against OU for a whopping 0% winning percentage. (This was with Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Mike Gundy, and Hart Lee Dykes) I am not here to say that OSU should be out of the BIG XII, they are a dominant wrestling and golf school. I just don't see the relevence in calling this a rivalry. OU's rivals are Nebraska and Texas, sorry pokes. I am not opposed to beating on the pokes every year I am just tired of it being considered a rivalry. I would like to get some input on what we should call this matchup from now on. Thank you for listening ,FAH
