CLUBS
The terrifying words, "last call" are never heard here! Most clubs/bars in Vegas are open 24 hrs.! Because of the 24 hour nature of this town, clubs don't start hopping until around midnight, or even well after. Most locals meet at their favorite "bar" for a couple of drinks around 10 or 11 on the weekends, and then head out to one of the 'Clubs" around midnight. The town is usualy perty busy on the weekends, but clubs and bars are busy all week, if you know which ones to hit on which night.
Below is a list of Clubs and Bars, with a small review of each by yours truly.
Flex

I put Flex in the "club" listing because the place tries so hard to be a "club". Actually, it's a bar with a small dance floor. Being the only bar on the west side of town is about all this place has going for it. It is a decent bar (at least it was the last time I was there) with a small dance floor that periodicaly sports male go-go dancers. If your short on time, it will not kill you to skip this place. If you have plenty of time, stop by for a drink. After all, it's not a bad bar, it's just nothing to write home about.
Angles-n-Lace

Angles in front, Lace in back. Lace use to be a primarily lesbian place but has since done somewhat of a turnabout. Still a lot of Dykes running aroung, but now, there are also quite a few black boys running around. The place plays hip-hop music, and the drinks are descent. So if you like your cuties dark, what is that old saying...once you go black, you never go ....(my boy hopes so!)anyway, its a great place. And, in front you have Angles which is a "video bar". No sorry, no skin flicks here, just music videos. No dance floor, but the drinks are good and resonably priced, and it's a great place to get away from the loud music of Lace for a more "intimate" conversation with that boy that you just picked up back in Lace. Both are great places, and draw a good mixture of locals and tourist.

Have not been for a while, but last time I was there (as it always has been) it was a big dump! But the drinks are cheep and strong, and the men are usually easy. Just make sure you get drunk before you look around at the patrons. On a more positive note, they also host a Latin night. If Latins are your thing (and whose got nicer things than those latino boys!), then this would be the place to be.

Country. I personaly hate country, but if it's your thing, than this is the bar. Last I heard, the bar is still cool for the country thing, and they even have line dancing lessons on Sundays.

Also country, but a sweet little bar. Badlands has a very friendly local bar feel. Even though I hate county, this little bar has grown on me. Tell the bartender Jackson that Rottxboy sent you.
The Bird Cage

At the time I listed this place, it had not yet officially opened, but listed itself as "Las Vegas' Hottest Alternative Lifestyle Night Club".....we will see! They say that this place will have Cabaret shows, dining, and pool. Will let you know whats up after I myself check it out!

This bar has made the MAJOR 280! This place use to be one of the biggest dives in town. But, they have done some remodeling, hooked up with some new guys behind the bar, and it's actually an ok place to hangout! Included with the remodilng was the cration of a stage that hosts drag shows.

Las Vegas' version of a leather bar. Host of the original "underwear night" - wear your underwear, drink for free.
In the winter this isn't that great of an idea, but man oh man in the summer there is no shortage of cute things running around in thier underwear (not me of course). Wednesday night is the original! Be there!!!!!

This is a cool little bar. They have a dance floor, and on the weekends, I have seen the joint popping! On some nights, their are more ladies than men, and the place puts on some drag shows too. It is right next to the group of bars so, if your in the neighborhood, stop in.

At one point in my life, this was my home away from home. I have always refered to this place as the gay version of Cheers. But alas, times change and I have not been here in ages. Everything I hear about this bar, still leaves it worthy of being refered to as the gay Cheers. Monday night is the "original liquor bust" Its like $5 for all the booze you can swallow, and the place is packed with lots of hell-a cute boys.

Yawn! Oops, I mean....this is a lovely little piano bar. If you have a hankering to hear piano music, pay for pricy drinks, and just have a general all around boring knind of experience, than this is the place for you. All right, I'll be nicer than that....if you are old, or like old people, or like listening to Piano music, than stop by, cuz it really is a nice little bar.

Sleaze at it's best! I must confess, I love this place. It is a little hole in the wall located in downtown Las Vegas. The crowd is almost always sleazy and drunk. Home of the $5 beer bust from 9-12 on Saturday nights. Rumored to be the stomping ground for cheep,sort-a-cute husstlers. If you are young and cute, I recomend you NOT come here alone, unless you like being fondled by drunk men oler than your father. If you are with a friend, than this is a must attend (on Sat night at least).

What is this place? If you figure out, please let me know. It is nothing short of interesting. They play ok music (from a box), and the drinks are well priced, but the crowd,,,,it's well...an interesting mix. A mix of the above mentioned Snicks patrons,and on occasion, I have seen cute colledge boys. I never know what I'll see when I stop by, so if you like a little mistery in your life, stop by cuz its a cool little bar, and they usally have free food.
