The Simon approach:
Its consist of 4 stages as follow
1-planning, which include identify project, select project depend on criteria, initiation, scheduling.
2- Analyses, which include analyze project, set alternative solution, select selected solution.
3-designing, (logical and physical programming) coding program, install, test from programmer and user for error, train, documentation.
4-Implementation, maintenance.
Simon approach end user not involve in system, and costly control, needs time.
The SDLC approach:
Its consist of 11stages as follow

2- Select project depend on criteria
3- Initiation, scheduling.
4- Analyze project
5- Set alternative solution.
6- Select selected solution.
7- Designing, (logical and physical programming)
8- Install
9- Test from programmer and user for error, train, documentation.
10- Implementation.
