Nyosie was cut from the anime because it is quite a violent island and
has no real purpose to the story line, other then some laughs. Anyway Nyosei is an island
isolated in the sea that they take to get from the Konan Empire to the place where
the Genbu shinzaho is kept. This island is occupied by the female sex. If men happen to
find the island the women there will do one of three things with them.
1. They will kill the man and use his body as a warning to
others.
2. They will kill the man and use him in wine and other useful products.
3. They will gouge out the man's eyes and use him as a breeding tool.

So what happens when Miaka and her six male celestial warriors stumble
upon the island? (there are only six because Hotohori is running the empire.) Well
they quickly discover that this island is for women only. Chiriko told them about the
island and that they should all dress as women. So all are warriors are dressed and drag,
but Chiriko's seishi symbol disappeared ( I don't know why) and he forgot why they were in
disquise. So this led to a few problems.... |
| The first being that Mitsukake despite best efforts makes a really ugly
woman and was immediately recognized as a man and captured. Tamahome who is in drag
is assigned a room with Miaka, so they have to share a room for the night and keep
themselves to themselves. Also This one friendly woman there is trying to pick up
Tamahome. Yet somehow despite all these things they manage to get off the island and
continue their happy journey for the Shinzaho. |

I know what you're thinking. This story sounds familiar. Well it should, if you have
watched the first OVA it has shorts between each episode. All of the Seiryuua and Suzaku
Sieshi, Miko's (plus Tetsuya and Keiske) are headed to a springs. When they get there they
read the sign that it is for women. Chiriko pulls out his manga and tells them all that
they have to dress in drag and that people who read the manga are expecting this. So
everybody puts on dresses, but Mitsukake is still a really ugly Woman and is once again
immediately caught by the women there and dragged off. But instead of being tortured by
the females he's going to be used by them and the majority of all the other seishi give
themselves up to the women at the spa. (They did not do this on the island, that would
have been certain death.)
So now you know about the island of Nyosei and why the spa short is like it is. I will
hopefully add more to this when I get the manga that has this in it. Until then I hope you
enjoy my brief synopse on the island.
