~Frogs~
In sixth grade I wrote up a pretend petition. I made it up as I went along. *s* I must have been very bored. In this one, there are grammatical and spelling errors which I have left in to uphold the originality of it.

Disecting frogs; or any animal for that matter should be illegal. Peole can learn and understand without
using deliberately killed speices for show. It's cruel to them, taking their life for no reason, and also cruel
to man kind, for those who feel as I do. Around where I live frogs are not very common things to find. In
fact, you have a better chance in finding a well from 100 years ago, than finding a frog. One day frogs will
be endangered, and all the schools and science teachers who did disecting as a class project will take part in
the guilt of killing off the frog speices. But we shouln't even think about taking that chance. We can study
pictures, talk about, and read about how the body of a frog works without cutting one apart. How do you
think a human would feel if someone cracked their neck in half, and cut them into pieces? It would hurt!!!
Besides, I belive that deliberately killing something or someone is considered murder. I don't know anyone
cold hearted enough to do something like that. I would rather get an F- for the entire marking-period, than
perticipating in taking a life. It is cruel, and for me, unthinkable. Please take my views seriously, and
consider sighning my petition for Saving Lives. Thank You so very much!
