The Fairy Queen and
Princess have decreed
another birthday approaching
It's for Fae Misty Wood
a tiny new fae
who arrived about
one month ago.
There she is
darting around the
buttercups and laughing
with her neighbor
fae sisters.
They are teasing
her about getting
too old to fly
and having to sit
in her fairy home
doorway all the time
They giggle while she
chases them down
and they fall down
laughing.
"I'll still be catching
you two hundred years
from now," she jabs them
with her tiny elbows
and flutters off
in majestic spirits
glorying in the
lovely day.
"My birthday," she says.
Oh, how marvelous.
I love birthdays"
Suddenly the magical
hour turns around
and it's her true
birthday.
The garden glows,
the little fae
shimmer in a special
aura in her eyes
and she darts off
to try the nectar
in the nearest
flower for it will
be the flavor she
totally loves.
She pirouettes
upon hearing a
whispering sound.
Happy Birthday,
Happy Birthday,
dear Fae Misty Woods.
Fairy Queen Rosei, the
Princess and all the fae
of the garden are
gathered around her
shimmering and laughing,
then hugging and dancing
around and around with
her.
