The Warrior
and the priestess -- two powerful female archetypes.
One tiredand wounded, one radiant and healed
The feminine is comfortable with the unknown.
From this mystery springs creativity and intuition
He who harbors love of truth in his heart will live
and not suffer, for he has drunk the water of immortality.
So struggle courageously and wisely.
Then you can be a soldier of Truth
.'
Unless one treads the way through the
forest with all its dangers and threats, one cannot learn the way to wisdom
and come to light. In most myths, fairytales and stories, the transition and
transformation occurs in the forest.
Life offers us the opportunity to become a Spiritual Warrior.
A warrior is one who bravely goes into those dark
areas within themselves to ferret out the Truth of their being.

The path is narrow
You will walk alone: through the dark caves,
up those steep climbs and through the dense thickforest.
You will meet your dark side. The faces of fear, deceit,
and  sadness all await your arrival.

Should we decide to embark on this journey,
we can never turn back....
Our lives are changed forever
The Spiritual Warrior stays the course, wounded at times,
exhausted and out of energy.
The Spiritual Warrior stays the course. Weakened, but never broken.
One day, the battle, loneliness and desperate fight sare over.
The sun breaks through the clouds; the birds begin tosing
their sweet melodies. There is a change in the energy.
A deep change within the self

The battle of the dark night of the soul is won.
New energy  and joy now fill the Warrior.

A new awareness of God beams  as they go forth to show others the way and be a living example
of the Truth of their being.
Religion calls the soul to the highest adventure it can undertake,
a projected journey across the jungles, peaks, and deserts of the human spirit.
The call is to confront reality, to master the self.
Those who dare to hear and follow that secret call
soon learn the dangers and difficulties of its lonely journey.."
authentic religion is the clearest opening through which
the inexhaustible energies of the cosmos pour into human life."
the "journey back to God," is an unfolding of the heart's secret
The "death" of the ego is central to the mystical path, as expressed in
the saying of the Prophet, "to die before you die.

The mystic  knows that "the mind is the slayer of the real"
While the mind can only understand through separation,
the separation of subject and object, the heart knows through oneness.

The first paradox of the path is that "the end is present in the
beginning."and so begins the circular journey of self-revelation.
I have found a Sea of Love
       an inexhaustible flood;
I have opened a treasure of spiritual knowledge,
it diffuses the lustre of a million suns
       arisen in Thy worshipper's souls.
       Unexpectedly
       without an effort
I have heard the Eternal Secret,
I have learned to know God.
