Requiem eternum O Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.
(May they have eternal rest,

you mustn't be afraid of death
you're a deathless soul
you can't be kept in a dark grave
you're filled with God's glow

when i die
when my coffin
is being taken out
you must never think
i am missing this world

don't shed any tears
don't lament or
feel sorry
i'm not falling
into a monster's abyss

when you see
my corpse is being carried
don't cry for my leaving
i'm not leaving
i'm arriving at eternal love

when you leave me
in the grave
don't say goodbye
remember a grave is
only a curtain
for the paradise behind

you'll only see me
descending into a grave

how can there be an end
when the sun sets or
the moon goes down

it looks like the end
it seems like a sunset
but in reality it is a dawn
when the grave locks you up
that is when your soul is freed

have you ever seen
a seed fallen to earth
not rise with a new life
why should you doubt the rise
of a seed named human

have you ever seen
a bucket lowered into a well
coming back empty
why lament for a soul
when it can come back
like Joseph from the well

when for the last time
you close your mouth
your words and soul
will belong to the world of
no place no time

And that to your Lord is the End/Return of everything.
And that it is He Who makes one laugh and weep;
And that it is He Who causes death and gives life;
(Koran, 53:42-4)

The real does not die, the unreal never lived.
Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet.
Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.

The Blessed Lord said: You are grieving over those who are not fit to be
grieved for, yet you speak words like a great man of wisdom. But the wise do
not grieve neither over the living nor over the dead. Never did I not exist,
nor did you nor these kings. Nor shall we ever cease to exist in the future.
--Bhagavad Gita 2.11 and 2.12

If one lies peacefully in his grave
fixing eyes only on Him Who never dies
Then, we won't smell the dust
thrown on us

       Once you have been delivered from this cage,
       your home will be the rose garden.
       Once you have broken the shell,
       dying will be like the pearl.
       When God calls you and pulls you to Himself,
       going is like paradise, dying like the pool of heaven.
