| The peace that comes from surredering one's life to God... Allah means literally the God, not a god. For there is only One:"The GOD" |
| "Wherever you turn, there is the Face of God." We cannot open our hearts, only God can do that, but we can remove the obstacles that block the heart. THAT WHICH POLISHES THE HEART IS THE INVOCATION OF ALLAH Muhammad said, 'I am a human being like you,' - to see God, try to find yourself. He is here [pointing to his heart]. Knowledge is light, not information When you are forgetful of self, you are remembered by God; when you have become God's slave, then you are set free. |
| Allah's Messenger said, "Everynight when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, theSuperior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?" |
| My ablution is with weeping, thus my prayer will be fiery. And I burn the mosque's doorway when my call to prayer strikes it |

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MERCIFUL THE COMPASSIONATE And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose deeds has been lost. | THE PROPHET'S VISIT If Prophet Muhammad visited you ,Just for a day or two, If he came unexpectedly, i wonder what you'd do. Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room, To such an honored guest, And all the food you'd serve him, Would be the very best, And you would keep assuring him, You're glad to have him there, That serving him in your home, Is joy beyond compare. But... when you saw him coming, Would you meet him at the door, With arms outstreched in welcome, To your visitor? Or... would you have to change your clothes Before you let him in? Or hide some magazines and put, The Quran where they had been? Would you still watch X-rated movies, On your T.V. set? Or would you switch it off. Before he gets upset? Would you turn off the radio, And hope he hadn't heard? And wish you hadn't uttered the last loud hasty word? Would you hide your worldly music, And instead take Hadith books out? Could you let him walk right in, Or would you rush about? And, I wonder... if the Prophet spent, A day or two with you, Would you go right on doing the things, You always do? Would you go right on saying the things You always say? Would life for you continue, As it does from day to day? Would your family conversating, Keep up its usual pace, And Would you find it hard each meal, To say a table grace? Would you keep up each and every prayer? Without putting on a frown? And would you always jump up early, For prayer at dawn? Would you sing the songs you always sing, And read the books you read? And let him know the things on which, Your mind and spirit fed? Would you take Prophet with you, Everywhere you plan to go? Or, would you maybe change your plans, Just for a day or so? Would you be glad to have him meet, Your very closest friends? Or, would you hope they stay away, Until his visit ends? Would you be glad to have him stay, Forever on and on? Or would you sigh with great relief, When he at last was gone? It might be interesting to know, The things that you would do. If Prophet Muhammad, in person, came, to spend some time with you Author unknown |

| They made not a just estimate of Allh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand.
