Hogosha is impulsive, but trustworthy and honorable; he believes combat must only be done to protect someone/thing. The most important value to Hogosha is Honor. Hogosha has no one special to him, but he will go out of his way to protect pretty much anyone. Hogosha feels that every person has the right to live, and he will fight to protect that right.

Hogosha Shirokon can't remember what he did in life; he only remembers waking up in the 80th district of Rukongai. Set upon the moment he arrived, Hogosha found a broken blade lying in the street and fended off his attackers with it. Hogosha wandered through the city, the broken blade tucked into his sash. Several more times he was attacked, each time he managed to push back the attackers without killing them.

He was horrified at all the children that wandered the streets of the district. After a week in the 80th district, Hogosha decided to create an orphanage. He maintained that orphanage for over 100 years, taking in young children that had no where else to turn; whenever his orphanage was attacked he woud defend it with the broken blade.

Eventually he began to feel the hunger that was the symbolism of high spirit energy. Hogosha did not want to become a shinigami, he needed to protect the children of the 80th district. He survived with the hunger for a hundred more years, until a child that he had raised came back in the robes of a shinigami. The boy had seen how much Hogosha had to eat when he lived there.

The former orphan promised he would assign shinigami to protect the orphanage in shifts, so the children would never be unprotected. Hogosha agreed to this stipulation and left the orphange to become a shinigami.

Zanpakuto
A zanpakuto is the weapon of Shinigami, Vizards, and Allancar. Special Abilities whether granted by a user's shikai or bankai are all created like any other technique. Most zanpakuto look like a standard katana when sealed, which grants +4 damage. If a weapon has a different form, then a different set of damage will be applied to it. All shinigami start out with Asauchi until they can achieve their shikai, this is a standard looking katana with an oval crossguard.
